Great get away!

It was like being around the family you love! They make it so you don’t want to leave. I travel the world and so far- this place has went above and beyond all expectations and showed what true hospitality is! I give it a 20/10 I will return! Mr. Groupers for the win!!!

Loved my stay!

I loved my stay at Mr Grouper’s Suites! We checked in on a Thursday and it was so convenient to have the fish fry right next door. Sabrina at the front desk was lovely and so was security and staff. The Mr Grouper’s team was the best service on the island. The room was great and clean upon arrival. We also loved the pool! A few suggestions are to place some hangers in the closet and maybe hooks behind the bathroom door. Thank you so much and I will recommend your hotel to any of my friends looking for a place to stay!

As advertised

Mr Groupers suites were in a solid location and was all me and my son needed for our stay in Turks. They were very receptive to any questions / inquiries I had and there were no incidents. Only thing that could have gone better if our room was cleaned on day 3 vs. 5 - not sure what happened but may have been the holiday throwing a curveball to things.

Best level of service, huge room and lively place to stay at an amazing price! You can't beat it.

I was really blown away by the level of thought, care and intention with the team at The Suites. The rooms are really big, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the built in kitchen made snacks and smaller meals a breeze. The walk to the beach was under 7 minutes, and the restaurant next door has such a great vibe for a last minute drink, dinner or party on the Fish Fry. The room was really bright, brand new, clean and the rug was so soft. We even got some champagne at check in. The founder Yardley and her family were beyond gracious! We will be back!! Katya

Just Me - Solo Traveler

Everything about my stay was wonderful. I am doing some solo travel this year and this was the perfect location. As a woman, I felt comfortable and safe but did relegate my walking to the day time - same as I would anywhere including the U.S. for that matter. When I arrived at the airport, I took a cab to the property. The property was super clean and everyone was very friendly and they greeted me with a nice glass of punch as advertised! I did not want to drive so I walked during the day to the beach - 9 min. Also, if you do not mind walking, the down town was about 20 min walk for me and then a gourmet grocery store a little further. I only stayed 4 nights and someone cleaned my room while I was away on day 2. I did not expect this so it was a pleasant surprise. Mr. Grouper’s restaurant was next door with great food and drink. The Thursday fish fry next door was lots of fun and you must attend if you are there on a Thursday! On the morning of my departure, the staff called me a cab that took me to the airport which was 15-20 min away and that went smooth as well. Thank you everyone and I will be back!!!!!

Lacking, I won’t be back

1. I arrived early, and the receptionist was kind enough to allow me to leave my bags. I used the rest room in the reception and left an earpiece of my AirPods there. Walked to the beach, and that’s when I realized I left it and immediately messaged the host about it. I came back for my check-in that afternoon and was informed that the earpiece was not found. Even tho there was literally none else there with access to the reception restroom. There goes $120 2. There was no attendants for baggage handling, so I am 5', 140 pounds and was expected to go up three flights of stairs, no elevator, with my luggage. The receptionist is even smaller than I am, she offered to bring it up, and then another lady step up and brought it upstairs. 3. I checked in a Saturday afternoon, was not given the wifi password. Sunday was Easter, so the office was closed (even tho you still have guests that are paying to stay there). This means I had no choice but to wait until Monday to have access to the wifi. 4. I went out Saturday night and found out that I was locked out of the hotel. The security guard was no where to be found. The cab driver found the guard for the restaurant and he found the hotel staff to let me in. For a solo female traveler, this was very stressful. 5. There was a cockroach in my bathroom, I made a video In case there's a question of my hygiene, I have proof that I kept the room clean. Stay there if you must, I will not stay there again and will not recommend.
