Our home was built in **1961** and has been lovingly maintained and updated over the years while keeping some of its original character. This is an **older home, not a newly built or fully modernized property**, so guests should expect some of the charming quirks that naturally come with a home of its age.

The home features beautiful **original refinished hardwood floors**, which may squeak in some areas when walked on—part of the character of a 1960s home.

The home has **3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms**, a comfortable living area, and a kitchen for preparing meals. Please note that **the kitchen does not have a dishwasher**.

The home is located in an **older, established residential neighborhood** with homes of different ages and styles. It is a quiet, lived-in neighborhood rather than a newer or modern development. We like to make this clear so guests know exactly what type of area to expect before booking.

The location provides convenient access to Olde Town Arvada, Berkeley, The Highlands, Sloan's Lake, Downtown Denver, Red Rocks, mountain hiking, and ski resorts.

Enjoy our **outdoor dining area and fire pit**, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

We have recently updated portions of the landscaping with new grass and continue to maintain and improve the front and backyard. Occasionally, outdoor maintenance may be needed during a stay. If so, we'll notify you ahead of time and do our best to work around your schedule.

We believe in accurately representing our property. Our home is **clean, comfortable, and well cared for**, but it was built in 1961 and is located in an older neighborhood. Guests may notice characteristics associated with an older home, such as squeaks in portions of the original hardwood flooring.
