Great Location.

Nice place and great location near the beach, University and Downtown. Clean house with plenty of space for the family and dog. Fenced in backyard was a huge plus. Shopping was near by and plenty of restaurants.

This was a great place for our family to stay (grandparents, family with 3 kids, dog). It was clean. We loved the fenced in backyard. We loved the location to the beaches, as well as downtown Wilmington. Check-in was easy. Communication was great!

Nice place great location dog friendly

The place was very nicely maintained and property managers were very responsive. Kitchen was well stocked. Enjoyed the backyard since I could let dogs out at anytime since it was all fenced.

Great spot!

Communication was great. House was delightful and worked perfectly for our summer stay. The listing shows a BBQ grill but there isnt one. However, there was an air fryer in the kitchen. Overall would stay again.

Loved this house!

My family and I loved the house! We were down to visit our daughter at UNCW which was just 10-15 minutes away depending on traffic. Very convenient and located within 15-20 minutes of everything we wanted to do. The house was very clean and everyone loved the hammock. Although a very nice and quiet street, the house is two houses in from a pretty busy street so the noise from the traffic was pretty loud when outside. Really minor annoyance as overall rating is a five star. We would without a doubt stay at this place again when visiting the Wilmington area.

We had such an amazing stay at Coast Away Cottage! From the moment we arrived, everything was neat, well-kept, and perfectly organized. The home was spotless, everything was in its place, and it was thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home.One of the highlights for us was how dog-friendly the property is. We brought both of our dogs, Brindle and Pearl, and they had the best time. The space was perfect for them to relax and feel comfortable, and it made our trip even more enjoyable knowing they were just as happy as we were.The location couldn’t be better—only about 10 minutes from the beach! It was the perfect balance of a peaceful, cozy home base and quick access to all the fun. My wife and I had an incredible time, and the dogs loved every bit of the adventure too.We truly appreciate how much thought and care went into this property. Everything from the cleanliness to the amenities to the pet-friendly setup was absolutely spot on. We’d come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend Coast Away Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-stocked, and pet-friendly getaway near the beach!

We are a couple who LOVES Wilmington and restoring/renovating historic homes. This is one of the many reasons we fell in love with Wilmington many, many moons ago. We moved from the Durham/Raleigh area and are working hard to finish our "forever home" in Downtown Wilmington.

Outside of renovation and hospitality, we are foodies, love the beach, entertaining with friends and family, creating cocktails and taking our rescue doggie MaciGrey any and everywhere with us! This is why we NEVER charge pet fees or pet deposits for our rentals.

* In the back yard, you will find a huge fenced in area for your furr babies to run around, a picnic table with umbrella for lots of fun seafood meals, and a hammock stretched between trees which provides a love spot to read a book, take a nap or watch a movie on your iPad before falling asleep! HA!
