The Space:
As you enter this three-bedroom cabin you will be greeted by a space filled with charming cabin decor, high ceilings with exposed wood beams, and soaring windows providing stunning views over Lake Tahoe. An added bonus is the cabin is east facing which means the home is in the prime location for some amazing sunrise views over the lake!
When you arrive at the home you will first come to the open-space shared living area where you will find the living room, dining area, and kitchen all connected. Guests will first enter the living room where you will find two couches to relax on as you warm up by the large gas fireplace situated in an impressive stone hearth. During the day enjoy the gorgeous views out the soaring windows in this space, and by night relax by the fire as you watch a movie on the 47” smart TV with your group. If you need additional sleeping space one of the living room couches can be pulled out to a comfortable queen-size bed.
Adjacent to the living room is the dining area where you will find a wooden dining table with chairs and bench seating for 8. The dining table sits next to the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake providing a stunning view to enjoy while you eat. From the living/dining area, you can access the large private deck through sliding glass doors. Take in the breathtaking views over Lake Tahoe and the surrounding trees from the deck, this space will quickly become a favorite hangout spot for your group! Dine al fresco at the patio table with seating for 6, or prepare a meal on the propane bbq. And be sure to wake up early enough at least once to take in the sunrise over the lake from the deck, it will be more than worth the early wakeup call!
Back inside you will find the kitchen connected to the dining area where the chef in your group will find all the basic cookware needed to prepare a meal for the group. The spacious and open kitchen is fully equipped and features stainless steel appliances, spacious granite counters, and an over-the-sink window with views over the surrounding forest. On the other side of the kitchen is a laundry room where guests will have access to a stacked washer and dryer making it convenient to do laundry while on vacation.
When you are ready to settle in for the night you will find two of the three bedrooms located on the main floor down a hallway from the shared spaces. The first bedroom features two twin beds with a dresser, two lamps, and a long bedside table to store personal items. Directly across from this bedroom is the second bedroom where you will find a comfortable queen-size bed, two nightstands with lamps, and a large dresser offering ample storage space for guest use. Conveniently located near the two bedrooms is a full bathroom which includes a single-sink vanity with spacious under-the-sink storage, and a shower/bathtub combo.
To reach the third bedroom of the home head up to the loft area where you will find the spacious master bedroom featuring soaring ceilings and gorgeous exposed wood beams. This bedroom boasts a king-size bed, matching nightstands with lamps, a comfortable sofa underneath the window, and a large dresser with a 32” TV on top. The master bedroom also features an ensuite bathroom where you will find a single-sink vanity and a shower so you can clean up before settling in for the night.
For those who like to mix work and play you will find a small office space in the loft overlooking the main level shared space with a great view of the lake. This workspace includes a desk and chair where you can set up your computer and enjoy the fastest internet in town with a 60mbps download speed and an upload speed of 5mbps.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire house and outdoor areas which include a large outdoor deck. Guests will also have access to two parking places in the driveway in front of the house.
The Neighborhood:
If relaxation in the great outdoors is what you are looking for, this North Lake Tahoe gem has everything you need to have an amazing Lake Tahoe vacation. The cabin is situated on a quiet street just minutes away from an endless network of National Forest trails. During the winter months hit the trails and enjoy cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling, and in the summer these same trails turn into the perfect hiking, mountain biking, or dirt biking areas. For those coming for a winter getaway, this cabin puts you nearby some of the best skiing in the area! The Tahoe Nordic Cross Counter Center is just a 5 minutes drive away and both Palisades Tahoe and Northstar Ski Resort can be reached within 20 minutes. In the summer months take on the Tahoe Rim Trail which is a 3-mile hike from the home, or a 10-minute drive on a dirt road. Or have a beach day at Kings beach which is just 10 minutes away from the home. For those in your group looking for a little less outdoor time, Tahoe City is less than a 10-minute drive where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers markets, and live music.
Getting Around:
The home is within a 10-minute walk to the nearest public transportation stop on Tahoe's public transportation system called TART. This stop is on the Mainline and is stop HWY 28 at Old County RD which runs every hour. Take advantage of the home's close driving proximity to Tahoe City and make the short 10-minute drive where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort.
Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.
Other Things to Note:
If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.
If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall, there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe.
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
