Incredible Caribbean living on 60 acres at Gentle Winds... Enjoy the beautiful sea views from the 3 bed/3 bath remodeled condo with a fully furnished kitchen, dining room and living room with two open air balconies and a screened porch. The master bedroom has a king bed and a recently remodeled bathroom. The twin XL bedroom converts to a king and has a recently remodeled bathroom with a shower/tub. The upstairs queen bedroom/bath has access to the seaside balcony with a high top table and chairs. The loft area has seating and a tv looking out at the balcony with Adirondack chairs. Take a dip in the pool, play tennis, basketball, games at the clubhouse or sit on the white sand beach under a thatched umbrella or hammock. The Sunny Shack beach bar & grill offers sandwiches, burgers, salads and tropical drinks. They are open most days from 12-5 but usually close September thru mid October. Close to Salt River National Park, Cane Bay (renowned for snorkeling and diving) and just minutes from colonial Christiansted and its marina, boardwalk, boutiques, galleries, restaurants, history, dive shops and more.

My family had a wonderful stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. Host was exceptionally responsive and helpful.Condo was beautifully decorated and everything we needed. We had our 18 month old and she had porta crib and toys.Beds were super comfortable and kitchen well stocked.Gentle Winds property was neat and lots of activities.Definitely will be back!

Fun with Friends

Gentle Winds is fantastic because of the central location, the pool and shack shack, central air conditioning, fully stocked kitchen, and the modern washer and dryer. We were so so so glad that you had 3 full baths, ceiling fans, lots of beach towels, a Brita pitcher, sunscreen and beach bags, hair dryers, a quiet dishwasher, toaster, blender, and Playing Cards!We will be back at Gentle Winds in January!

A piece of paradise

We had an amazing stay at Beach Happy. It is nicely updated and decorated with everything we needed for our stay. Nice screened porch with a view of the ocean for morning coffee. Upper decks for a happy hour or star gazing. Beach, pool and snack bar are right there and the condo has beach and pool toys and pickle ball tennis and basketball which our 6 & 7 year old really enjoyed. Will definitely go back again.

North Shore Gem

We've staying in plenty of VRBOs on St. Croix, and this was by far the best! Easy check-in/check-out, very clean, and accurate to the listing portrayal. The recently updated condo is very spacious with 3 BRs, 3 Baths, laundry, large kitchen, A/C in every room, and great Wifi! Pool and ocean are a short walk from the front door. It's a fantastic location--close to Christiansted and not far at all from the diving/snorkeling at Cane Bay.

Amazing

Beautiful, immaculate home and property. Very comfortable and quiet. Conveniently located on the North Shore between Frederiksted and Christiansted. Community was lovely. Loads of amenities. Private beach and wonderful pool. Beach shack was great for lunch and yummy drinks. Host was very responsive!

Beach Happy Condo Review

My wife and I and a friend stayed in the Gentle Winds Beach Happy Condo for a week in March 2025. The condo was immaculate, well appointed, well laid out, very comfortable, and has a great view of the grounds and the ocean. We've been to St. Croix many times and have stayed at other beach rental condo complexes (Sugar Beach, Colony Cove), on St. Croix. Gentle Winds, with its beach, pool, and small poolside restaurant, extensive well kept-up grounds, and convenient location between Christiansted and Fredericksted is by far the nicest one on the Island. Communication with the owner as fast and easy. I highly recommend staying there.

Absolutely wonderful

Gentle winds property is perfect for what we were looking for. Beautiful beach on property with swimming area, bar/bar restaurant at the beautiful pool. Wifi at the pool and beach areas and very well kept property. We could leave the property or we enjoyed staying on property as well. Highly recommend! The owners were very responsive and we had an issue with our other VRBO. They allowed us access same day and bent over backwards so to speak to ensure we would be happy and comfortable due to our previous troubles. Thank you very much and we would love to come back.

Fantastic Condo and Vacation at Gentle Winds

Our family of 6 adults had a wonderful stay at Beach Happy! The condo is exceptionally clean and comfortable (furniture and bedrooms). The decor is beautiful and serene. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, and all dishes, utensils and cabinets were clean (a sticking point for me!). This was our 4th stay at Gentle Winds, and we will stay with Mary Ann on our next trip. She also responded promptly to my many questions. The Gentle Winds beach and pool are always beautiful, clean, and never crowded. This is definitely a slice of paradise. We also enjoy snorkeling at Isaac's Bay and Fredrickstead pier, and had a wonderful dinner at Rowdy Joe's. Thank you Mary Ann!

Paradise

Our stay at Gentle Winds was even better than expected! The condo was very nice! Remodeled, clean, nicely decorated , great views from multiple balconies. Every bed was very comfortable. The condo has everything you need in the kitchen, much better than other VRBO’s I’ve stayed in. There are plenty of bath and lots of beach towels. As a family we made multiple meals and used the grills down by the community area. The pool and beach were great. And the Sunny Shack had good food and drinks! Never too crowded. Love that it’s not like a big resort. Mary Ann was easy to communicate with. Always responded quickly to my questions before and during our stay. She checked in to see if everything was going good. We did not have any problems. We will plan to stay in this condo again!

What A Fantastic condo

There were 4 of us and we were pleasant.y shocked. There was nothing that needed fixing. There were more than enough towels for us as we were at the beach daily. The condo was spotless. Had every kitchen appliance you could use and more than enough cooking utensils, plates, cups, silverware paper products and two coffee pots. Fridge looked new and had a icemaker. Bedroooms were large and all had great mattresses. This unit was in a very nice complex which offered a pool, snack shack, a beautiful beach, and more. On a scale of 1 to 5, this is a 10. We will be back herpe

Love Gentle Winds!

Communication & flexibility with the owner was fantastic! I was disappointed that the condo doesn’t look onto the beach, but that was my fault for not verifying. We enjoyed the beautiful breezes & kept the screen doors open the whole time. The kitchen & downstairs bathrooms have been remodeled very nicely. The kitchen was appointed with all of the gadgets you need & there were plenty of beach towels. The only things that I would recommend would be maybe a bigger couch in the living room & an optional mattress topper for the upstairs bed. We like to watch movies at night as a group & there just wasn’t enough comfortable seating for the five of us. The upstairs bed is VERY firm. The condo had plenty of toilet paper, paper towels & soap was provided. A nice bar cart was set up & local guidebooks were available. Gentle Winds is our favorite place to stay in St. Croix!

Thank you for your feedback! So glad you enjoyed the newly remodeled bathrooms and the kitchen! We like the serenity and ocean view of our location which is a 2 minute walk to the beach. We sometimes bring the rockers in from the porch if needed to watch tv. Gentle Winds is our favorite place too so hoping you'll be back again!
