Enjoy stunning views of the bay and Hope Island at this exceptional west-facing retreat. Custom-designed, this gorgeous home showcases an entire wall of windows that face the water, creating an effortless indoor/outdoor flow.

Step outside to take in the extraordinary vistas. Dine alfresco at the charming picnic table, play a round of cornhole, stretch out in the hammock, and gather around the firepit on crisp coastal nights.

A viewpoint deck offers the perfect perch with two high-top stools, and a descending staircase leads down to approximately 100 feet of private waterfront. Fish, go crabbing, and search for shellfish. Or kayak and paddleboard out to Hope Island State Park. For adventures on land, bike out to Anacortes and Skagit Valley farm country.

Inside your ocean-view getaway, a wood stove provides a cozy vibe. Find everything you need to prepare delicious home-cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen. There’s even a lofted office nook that boasts spectacular bay views.

the place was great, and I would stay there again. It had a few minor issues. the right side of the refrigerator door has no suction, so it didn't keep everything as cold as we would have liked. toilet paper holders were falling off the wall. the carpet was pretty stained. But the place itself was roomy, and we made it cozy by building a fire. (Best feature for me) Except for the carpet these are minor issue and wouldn't deter me from going back.

The dishwasher needed service. (We ran things through twice and still they came out dirty, so I had to wash them by hand.) Also, the Internet connection was very spotty. (It only started working the last half day of our trip.) There was a Blu-ray, but no movies. The smoke alarms were chirping and there wasn't a step stool to reach them. The bed and bath linens were old and rough. I expected better. The view was beautiful and the setting was otherwise lovely.

We stayed here in the spring during the Tulip festival. It was a very comfortable home and I really enjoyed the outdoor space as well. Pretty spacious and looked exactly like the pictures!

Beautiful house, amazing view.

This was was very quiet and relaxing. Restaurants are 10-15 minutes away, and the kitchen is large and well stocked for dining in. Beds are comfy, and everything worked great. Beautiful place to relax, walk on the beach, and knock back and enjoy life.

The huge, west facing, windows are a major selling point of this home. The view of Hope Island and the coast were amazing. Decently appointed kitchen and comfortable rooms. No complaints of any note to be made.

Beautiful views and cozy feels

The location and views are amazing. It is close to a ton of fun, nature, and access to several of the islands. The place was clean and had great thought in how they curated the experience. Look for the hidden spice rack it will have mostly what you need and make sure you take in the views of the area.

There were some shortcomings that need to be addressed. Here is what I communicated to VACASA: "A good amount of silverware in the drawer was filthy (I have photos if needed). Coffee makers had not been cleaned. Some of the room heat vents looked like potential fire hazards (need to be replaced). TV Remote control was effectively inop. When we opened up the back, the batteries were corroded. We found a small flashlight in a drawer and replaced the batteries in the remote (cleaned the connectors, etc.). It worked. Speaking of TV, there was none. Only thing we could get to open was Youtube. Stove did not appear to have been cleaned since it's last use. Downstairs guest toilet tank needs to be serviced. When flushed, it does not reseal - on more than one occasion, water continued to run until someone raised the flush handle to force it to close. Finally, upstairs shower head needs calcium removed/cleaned to make it work."

Great for Quiet Retreat

This is a quiet area in a private neighborhood. It was perfect for a low-key girls' weekend getaway. We appreciated the fireplace, huge views and thoughtfully stocked kitchen. Cute touches and ample space for us. We enjoyed the shore birds and watching the weather from the comfortable common areas. Thank you!
