Short stay in Tamarindo

Very comfortable stay, great central location. Clean and comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews, the pool is not heated but it is very refreshing on/after a hot day. Parking is tight but we were able to make it work.

Everything was wonderful! Beautiful, very clean. Fantastic communication prior and during (including local recommendations, connections for airport shuttle, etc.). Condo is spacious and lovely, in the ideal location just next to all of the fun but very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of towels, bath products provided, there even was enough toilet paper, paper towels and dishwashing detergent (normally we always have to purchase)! The pool is right outside and is wonderful (I swam every day) but is quiet. Better information provided in the guest books and linked information than anywhere we have stayed. We rented a golf cart but you really don’t need it to access all of town and the beach. We absolutely will rent again when we return.

Great place to stay

The property was clean and inviting. The whole family loved the accommodations and location. The owner did warn us about how directions in the area are a little tricky and they were, but we were able to get there with their guidance. It was a perfect little home away from home. Highly recommend.

Perfect Tamarindo Get-Away

We loved our stay at the Casa Creativa in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Three wonderful days as our introduction to the country. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the location. We also enjoyed the pool on the property. Host was easy to communicate with. Great recommendations on activities and we enjoyed several of them. Highly recommend.

Cute place, Great location

My family and I enjoyed Casa Creativa! Sydney is beyond helpful and attentive!! Loved that both bedrooms had bathrooms. The pool is nicely located right outside the unit. My favorite is that the condo is in the heart of town, making walking to dinner, shops, groceries extremely easy! Would go back in a heart beat!

Perfectly located townhouse

We are a family of 6 that very comfortably stayed at this property for 3 nights. It’s well equipped and very clean and communications with the manager was exceptional! The pool is a gift and the perfect size and still feels personal. It’s located very well and you’re close to everything in walking distance even the beach. The beach is not the best and swimming has to be between the rocks, but we still enjoyed our time.

Good value. Great support

We really enjoyed our stay. The team was very responsive and helpful when we needed a bit of help. The walk with small kids was a bit long for us (4 year old, 3 year old, 2 year old). Yet, we loved being by a grocery store, amazing food (La Oveja was our favorite) and an active neighborhood. The pool was not heated, so a bit cold for us.

That describes our vacation perfectly. We enjoyed the condo which was well equipped. Having the pool so close was a bonus. The gated scenic entry kept us from realizing we were even in town. We also used Beard & Wild for four outings. They were all fantastic and Sydney was so sweet and attentive to our needs. Having a small group tour was awesome. She also made suggestions for local food and activities and we enjoyed those. We would highly recommend this condo and the tour company! Thanks Teresa and Sydney.

The only fault we found is that the kitchen stove needs replacing. Only 2 burners work on the stove and one of the two only works on high so we set off the fire alarms often. Otherwise everything was really good. Nice neighborhood 10 minutes to the beautiful beach

Great location!

This condo was well located, well equipped and very clean. The shops were close by. It was an easy walk to the best beach front in town. Even saw the Pura Vida show with the Costa man. It taught the history of Costa Rica through song, dance, live music, incredible audio and video. And even through magic. Venue was top notch. Not to be missed. The restaurants on the beach were magical. Beautiful cool breeze, random shows and great food. The kids really enjoyed the pool. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything worked. We could not have enjoyed our stay more. Communication with Teresa the property manager was fantastic! Pura Vida. We will be back!

Amazing location. Best family vacation ever

This condo is in the perfect location, within walking distance to everything and just far enough so that it’s quite at night. It’s clean, comfy and has everything you need. Sydney is an amazing property manager and easy to communicate with, she met us at the gates upon check in which we have never experienced before with other rentals which was so amazing. The pool was very refreshing after a full day of adventures. There is a grocery store a block away which was so convenient, the medical clinic across the street was wonderful because unfortunately we did have to visit it the doctor was very good, the artisan coffee shop across the street to the right has great cappuccino and cinnamon buns don’t miss out on it, the ATM by the Vindi will accept Canadian bank cards and you can actually get USD out of them. I can’t say enough good stuff about this condo, the property manager, the area and just the whole experience. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Oh and don’t forget to book a tour with beard and wild tours you definitely won’t regret it.

The hosts were very attentive, and I would recommend this condo to anyone, I loved the location and the unit. My only complaints were the mattress on the king bed and the refrigerator on the outside was not clean and had not been cleaned for a very long time. I scrubbed it but it still needs more work from the cleaners. Also, the outdoor patios with no patio furniture seemed like wasted space.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly appreciate your visit and your suggestions. Regarding the mattress, comfort can definitely be a personal preference, but we will keep an eye on guest feedback for future improvements. The refrigerator is fairly new and is cleaned inside and out between every stay. The exterior does have a bit of oxidation from the tropical climate, which can happen quickly in Costa Rica’s humidity, even with newer appliances. Rest assured the inside and functionality are extremely well-maintained. As for the outdoor space, Costa Rica can bring some serious heat, especially during certain seasons. While that particular outdoor area doesn’t always get a strong breeze, many guests enjoy the second-floor balcony overlooking the pool for relaxing outside. We are a family of 5 from Long Island, New York, USA, near the Atlantic Ocean and the Long Island Sound. We have lived our entire lives here near the sun and salt water so it was no surprise how fast we fell in-love with Costa Rica! We are all very involved and supportive of our adventure of owning a rental property in Costa Rica. Our youngest daughter has lived in Costa Rica since January of 2020. We fell in love with Costa Rica from the very first time we visited her in the Fall of 2020, which is why we decided to invest here. She has since started her own Tour Agency and manages our sweet condo to ensure our guests have the best experience they can possibly have.

Some things about me, Teresa, your host! I am addicted to Iced coffee and audio books. I LOVE the beach and still try to spend as much time there as possible. I love to paint and I have shared some of my artwork in our rental condo for your enjoyment.

Our beautiful tropical paradise is located in "La Buena Vida Condominiums", a luxury condominium project located on Calle Guanacaste, one of two main streets in Tamarindo, just a short 7 minute walk past shops, restaurants, and bars, right down to the beach. We chose Tamarindo, Costa Rica because of it's variety of options to enjoy. It is a town filled with opportunity to relax, go on an adventure, eat different foods, dance the night away, and of course, surf! There is something for everyone in Tamarindo, especially when staying at our condo. You can take a day trip to hike a waterfall or a volcano. You can stay local and relax on the beach or take a surf lesson. Everything you would like its only footsteps away. Shopping, cocktails, music, farmers markets, skate parks- Tamarindo has it all!

Only a 7 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk into downtown Tamarindo where you can find restaurants, shops, bars, a skatepark, surfing, and more!
Our condo is two floors. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living space, and half bathroom. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom. Bedroom #2 has two twin beds and a full bathroom. The main floor has a large AC unit that is enough to cool the entire first floor. Each bedroom has their own AC units as well.
There is an upper outdoor balcony overlooking the pool and a first floor patio area. There is also a gated shared pool/lounge area with an outdoor shower that is perfect for families or couples enjoying a beach vacation.

Casa Creativa is stocked with basic kitchen amenities, bath towels, beach towels, books, a few board games, soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. We also provide a Guest Welcome Book that should answer any questions you may have about your stay at Casa Creativa and in Tamarindo, Costa Rica.
