Recently transformed 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom Modern Farmhouse in Sheridan! Exceptional views! Located on 9 acres full of oak trees and a pond, this home offers a well-appointed living space that's perfect for friends and families. Sway in the hammock, play frisbee golf, play cornhole, try the ninja course, bird watch, build a charcuterie board in the fully equipped kitchen, then gather the crew to cook smores on the fire pit and enjoy stargazing and deer watching. The home includes 3 bedrooms downstairs and a loft room upstairs. The loft includes 4 twin beds, board games, and plenty of space for the kids to play. The living room has a queen size pull out couch for your use. There is plenty to do at the property or you can spend the day at the wineries, check out the distillery, shop in nearby towns, tube the Colorado river, or enjoying Splashway and all it has to offer. Ask us about wine tours! Dogs allowed (max of 2) with paid pet fee of $175.

Place was great

Great place. Big enough for whole family with play spaces for kids. Smore station was a great surprise. All the games really made it enjoyable. Get the insurance. Really close to splashway and columbus. Lots of stickers if you take dogs. Fun to listen to bull frogs sitting around the fire.

Weekend getaway

Our family stayed at the Farmhouse for the weekend and it was awesome. Beautiful, clean, secluded property with excellent hosts. One of the most picturesque oak trees in the back was great for pictures. We will definitely be back.

Weekend getaway

We had an amazing family weekend getaway at this ranch! The setting was perfect for a relaxing weekend, with beautiful scenery and plenty of space for the kids to run around. We enjoyed fishing by the pond, spending quality time together, and just unwinding from the daily hustle. The accommodations were comfortable and well-equipped, making it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful and memorable family escape! Great Place in Sheridan

Pictures don't do the Schmidt's place justice. It's a shame we didn't spend more time in the house, but the time we were there was amazing. Kristi and her husband have thought of everything to make you feel welcomed, and are quick to answer any questions you may have. Looking forward to staying here again!

Fantastic Property

We rented this property because of the proximity to Splashway but we would rent it again for the peaceful relaxation and comfort. The kids loved it for the fishing and the upstairs. The adults loved it because it has all the comforts of home, it definitely felt like a home away from home. The property owners were very responsive when I asked a question. We have nothing but positive feedback from our stay.

Excellent Quiet Place

The Sheridan was a great home base for our duck hunting trip. We had 5 adults, both men and women. We spent a lot of our time outside enjoying the grounds and the serenity of the wooded setting. It is a really nice place that has been recently renovated with all the items that you would need.

After Christmas Getaway

Great house & beautiful property! Good location with tons of things to do with young kids, indoors and outdoors. There is plenty for the adults to enjoy as well. The house is clean & comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. The owner was quick to respond and very helpful. Our family unanimously agreed to return in the summer and try out the nearby waterpark!

Perfect family get away!

We had a great stay here. The host accommodated to our needs and were very responsive. The pond made for a great way to pass time and catch fish. We caught several small large mouth bass and multiple perch. Great for all ages of fishing. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful views and nice night skies. We will stay here more times to come! We have nothing negative to say about this home!

Like out of a book

Straight out of a book farm house. Property is amazing, the kids loved the yard games and fishing in the beautiful blue pond. The sunset on the patio was picture perfect. The location was great just a short 5 minute drive to Splashway water park. Everything you could ask for and more included, definitely would book again!!!

Wonderful Place to Unplug

3 generations of family stayed in this lovely home & we all enjoyed our visit. It was peaceful & cozy, with plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved the tree swing & having their own space in the super cute setup upstairs. Our only criticism would be we all wished the grass were cut lower a little further out along the property, but overall we had a wonderful experience & definitely recommend this place to others!

Super fun weekend getaway!

This house is clean, well stocked, and adorable! We really enjoyed the outdoor space, which stayed fairly cool with all of the trees and shade even in this hot July weather. Nice that it was off the road a bit so we didn’t have to worry a ton about kids and traffic. We loved the close proximity to splashway so that our kids could enjoy the water park without the extended travel back and forth. We hope to bring the kiddos back again but it’s also the perfect house and setup for a girls trip too!

Best time ! Multi Family Vacay in Sheridan

The house is perfect for multiple families to stay or just one for a fun relaxing weekend. We had 3 families with 6 adults and 6 kids stay comfortably. Everything freshly remodeled and stocked for all the amenities you will need. Comfortable beds and beautiful views. The kids played and explored for a few days and we enjoyed the Splashway water park mins away as well as had amazing food and drinks at a recommended restaurant in Columbus called Blake’s Kitchen and Kocktails. Awesome quick easy getaway from Houston. Highly recommend staying and enjoying a few relaxing days and exploring the area.

Wonderful Splashway Weekend

We met up with another family (4 adults, 6 kids ages 5-11) for a weekend at Splashway. We had the BEST time we will rebook another trip to the Farmhouse one day. The house is more beautiful in person and the view from the porch is dreamy. The house was very clean and stocked with so many things we needed. We were about 5 minutes from Splashway and 20 minutes from Columbus. Highly recommend this VRBO for your next stay.
