The house was clean, and it iis really nicely laid out for a family stay. The kitchen is pretty and well-equipped. Lots of natural light in the whole house. The neighborhood was quiet and the pool and pool area were well maintained.

This place was very clean, which included the baseboards and the front windows. The layout was very nice because there was a separate place to eat, separate place to watch tv and relax and separate places to sleep. The place a lot of items to use; however, we did not do any cooking. But, if you wanted to cook, the kitchen had a lot to choose from. We liked that there was a screened in porch and there was ample space to park a crew cab truck with long bed and a gold cart. It was nicely decorated.

This property was wondering for our family! 4 adults, three kiddos (9 & under) & our pup stayed here, enjoyed the pool, screened in porch & easy access to the beach & all the fun in Port A. Kids enjoyed the ‘play room’ immensely. Felt like they had a secret hiding place. Host provided beach towels, toys & chairs, as well as cart to haul it all in. The home was clean & fresh, kitchen was easy to use & a great gathering place around the large table. Very family friendly. Host was so great with communication (unfortunately I was not paying attention to my phone at all). We hope they’ll have us back again. It was a wonderful extended weekend with my kids & we had so much fun.

The property was very clean inside and in a great location. However, the pictures on the website need to be updated as they are very misleading. The grill outside was broken and could not be used. There was trash in the corner of the yard behind the grill area. We went to use the community grill at the pool area, and it was corroded. The swinging rope game on the porch was broken and there was only one chair at the table on the porch. The AC down stairs was not efficient, so the downstairs was not as cool as the upstairs.

Great space

Our family of five (and 2 dogs) had ample space to enjoy our family vacation. Having the pool right across from the house was great for the kids. While it would have been great to be in walking distance to the beach or a beach view, we were glad that the drive to the beach only took five minutes. The house has all the necessities one needs on vacation and we enjoyed our time there.

Perfect stay

We had an amazing time. The house was clean and the owners thought of everything we could possibly need/want on our beach vacation. Lots of little touches like sound machines in all the rooms, all the necessary kitchen appliances, plenty of towels and comfy beds. The kids loved the TV's in each bedroom. The pool was directly in front of the house and the screened in porch was a huge bonus.

The house had everything needed and more. The screened porch was a nice addition and was used the most. The pool was located right in front of the house. Parking was tight but we made due. I would definitely rent again.

Stayed here with my dog and 4 college and highschool aged kids. The house was perfect for all of us. Large kitchen made cooking fun and easy (we like to cook together). We were able to buy fish from the fish market and cook with no issue, since the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. The dog had outdoor space to hang out in. The bedrooms were comfortable with clean linens. The neighborhood was quiet and adorable. We easily got around the island and did walk to the beach. The owner is very friendly and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

After years of supporting my husband’s military career and moving our family of six around the country, my husband has officially retired from the military. Those years gave us a unique perspective on property ownership and management. We’ve experienced the challenges of moving to a new area, finding a home, caring for a property from a distance, and trusting someone else to look after what we worked so hard for. Along the way, my mother and I purchased our first property together, which became the beginning of something much bigger. What started as an opportunity to invest together also gave us a way to spend more time together despite living hundreds of miles apart. It quickly became something we both truly enjoyed. Today, we’ve taken everything we’ve learned from our own experiences and turned it into Rooted Property Management. We’ve made our home in the area and are focused on growing our portfolio and our company while helping other property owners care for and grow their investments. We believe property management is about more than maintaining a house. It’s about communication, trust, attention to detail, and treating every property as if it were our own. We understand the importance of having someone you can count on—especially when you aren’t nearby.
