The house is located on the Tahquamenon River. Swim , kayak, fish, ride ATVs and Snowmobiles right from the house. 500 Security deposit required.

We loved the stay. All the snow sure was great. Huge dining room table a big plus. Plenty of room. Love the tv/entertainment room. Loved the seperate rooms coming from the garage for snow gear. Tom was very gracious on offering any help.

The host was great to work with. The house was large and well equiped. The breezeway worked out great for taking your gear off after snowmobiling. It had lots of hooks and hangers for everything dry. Great setup as it was just down the road from the trail.

River lodge

The lodge was as advertised. It met the needs of our group ( 11 adults and kids) in a most satisfactory manner. The setting being on a river was peaceful and provided recreational activities that included fishing , boating , kayaking that kept us busy throughout our stay. We would certainly stay at the lodge in the future.

Great stay in paradise!

We loved the house and will definitely be back. Saw so much wildlife, floated down the river, and was able to have family dinners each night. Tom was wonderful to work with and his insight on the space and hospitality did not go unnoticed. Can’t wait to book again!

Guys Snowmobile Trip

Everything was as advertised. Plenty of room and beds for a large group. Good location a couple miles from the trail on a snow covered road. So easy access to trails and a few miles from town (Paradise)

A great stay along the beautiful river

We were a group of 8 friends and we had a great time at this large home in Paradise. The huge kitchen table to sit around and look out to the river was so relaxing. The place was plenty large for all of us and it was very comfortable. The beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. It is only about 6 miles to Tahquamenon Falls entrance. We hiked the 10 mile hike from the lower falls to the upper falls. Also about 15 minutes from Whitefish Pointe, visited the Edmund Fitzgerald Museum---very interesting. Then the Salt St Marie Locks the third day about an hour away. Tom our host was very communicative and responded quickly with any questions we had. All in all a great stay!

Great House in an Amazing Setting

We were just thrilled with this home and the views. It is so relaxing and is made to take advantage of the gorgeous river. Many nice gathering places, comfortable beds, completely furnished and a friendly owner available by phone should you need him. We had 3 couples so the house was extra spacious for our needs: many bathrooms, large dining room table with string lights above and a large window overlooking the Tahquamenon River below. We are so happy we found this home, it was a carefree and relaxing vacation with the exact vibe we were looking for. Thank you Tom and all!

Amazing House!!

Our stay was amazing!!! It is always hard for us to find a place to stay that has enough rooms/beds for all of us!! The views were awesome! It was within good driving distance to all the places we wanted to see. I would definitely recommend this house! Communication was awesome too!

Wonderful getaway!

Property is amazing. Quiet, sits right on the river. There are enough bedrooms and bathrooms, and several large gathering areas. We had 11 people and never felt crowded- even the day it rained and we had to be indoors. Great experience!

Perfect Family Gathering in Paradise

Perfect house for extended family gathering. Had everything we needed. Especially loved the large dining space big enough for all of us to eat together and enjoy multiple groups playing board games and cards. Beautiful outdoor space where we enjoyed hammocking, sitting around the fire and numerous kayak trips down the river to the the lake. Host went above and beyond reaching out ahead of time to answer any questions and offer advice re the area and advisability of gassing up and groceries in Lower Peninsula. Would love to return some day!

If you have a large family this property will accommodate wonderfully. Large dining area for family style meals with plenty of bathrooms. Plenty of household and outdoor supplies.

Family reunion 2023

This property was exactly what we had hoped for. It was set right on river, beautiful views! Plenty of space for everyone, we had 12 and it wasn’t ever crowded- plenty of living space, large enough kitchen to cook. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms gave everyone personal space, while still letting us enjoy our time together. While most of us were happy to get away- the Wi-Fi kept the younger members connected enough to enjoy themselves also! Host was very responsive. Loved our trip and hope we can make a repeat visit!
