Charming nostalgic studio nestled on a beautiful lakefront lot teeming with a variety of birds & other wildlife. Wake up to birds singing, , make your coffee & sit out in the lanai or walk out to the dock to enjoy nature @its finest. As the day comes to an end, fire up the grill for a steak or burger & enjoy the sunset - Florida style!

Take a 1/2 mile walk to the other side of the lake through Lakeview Village (private - pedestrian access only to preservation area). You will enjoy many different vistas & perspectives from the other side (see photos) & get your nature fix! Enjoy!

If you're a coffee lover, we provide freshly-ground beans, & a variety of keurig roasts (or treat yourself to a cappuccino!).

If there is anything you need & don't see, I'm only a text message away! Our goal is to make your stay a memorable one - all that you had hoped & more. :) Looking forward to meeting you soon!

The sunporch and backyard areas are wonderful places to get away from traffic of the mind and the roads. Our hostess was very warm and accommodating. She cares deeply about her guests and their comfort.

Superb little hideaway!

This little jewel is just as described, and more! The room is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and the small touches that Bonnie has added, like a dish of chocolates and a basket of fresh fruit and snacks, made me feel that she had gone out of her way to make my stay as pleasant as possible! The room has a coffee maker, a microwave, a mini-fridge with waters, as well as a small nook for toasting the array of fresh English muffins and bagels that Bonnie provided. She made sure that there was fresh whipped cream cheese and butter, and the best treat of all was her home made raspberry preserves! Bonnie is a magnificent hostess, and once I was there and knew all of the important things, I had the entire lanai and back yard to myself. The private lanai looks out into the back yard, which is like a little oasis with vegetation and flowering trees, a small pond that's teeming with birds. There's also a curious little rabbit who might come and check you out! It was the perfect place for me as a female traveling solo because it was safe and in a quiet neighborhood that wasn't really like being in a neighborhood at all! I hope to visit again! Thank you Bonnie!

Bonnie has curated a beautiful place to stay. The in-room breakfast and coffee was a great way to start our day. Watched the sunrise and birds over the pond with a few friendly rabbits. Slices of paradise like this are seldom this convenient. Theres alot more i dont want to spoil. Come and see

Great Getaway

Hostess of the Mostess, Bonnie, is a Gem on Mango Lake! What a sweet Getaway from the Hustle & Bustle of the City! There is No Handicapped way in or out & is quite a hop & a skip to the tropical backyard entrance.The Spring Break Time Weather was Great & that back yard is perfect for games! No bugs, No Sweat! We had a Grand week & would stay again!!! Thanks!!!

A Relaxing Stay during a Difficult Tine

My grown daughter and I needed an accommodation to attend a funeral in Brandon, Florida. We arrived there around 9 Friday night and our hostess, Bonnie, came out to meet us and show us around. Her place was just as the pictures depicted. We were surprised in the morning to see the lovely, relaxing view from the lanai.

Staying here was a great experience. Communication was good, and Bonnie was friendly, welcoming, and helpful without being too intrusive. I loved the room and the lanai. Peaceful stay

Bonnie provides a peaceful place to stay while in the Tampa area. The room and bathroom were spotless and well stocked with anything I needed. The bed was so comfy with lovely linens. The lanai is perfect with a view of the lake.

Very attentive host

Bonnie has an incredible attention to detail. Lots of snacks, toiletries, etc. The room is at the back of her house, so you have to go through the side yard to access. We had more luggage than usual, as this was a stopover between two other adventures. We just needed a place to sleep and do laundry, and Bonnie’s place provided both. We found the bed comfortable but extremely high and a bit difficult to get in and out of. The laundry was in her garage, so involved another trip through the side yard and seemed a bit dark and crowded with we’ll-used machines (one of the dryer settings didn’t seem to work too well.). Overall it was a pleasant stay, but for our preferences, we probably won’t return. YMMV

Hostess with the Mostest

My husband and I have committed to a once monthly weekend escape to reconnect and grow closer to the Lord. This month we attended a conference at the fair grounds. The property couldn't have been more convenient as it is only 3 1/2 miles from the fair grounds. On the drive up we got turned around and Bonnie was so sweet and helpful, sending us a map and remaining in constant communication with us until our arrival. Upon arrival we had the pleasure of meeting her in person as she showed us around the property and our room. We had the most pleasant conversation as though we were old friend's. It relieved so much stress and anxiety having her there on the property. I was even further impressed as we stepped into the room to find all of the beautiful detail's she had put into the space. Precious little notes and treats all over. We had coffee on the dock at sunrise and we're greeted by a little brown bunny. We were seeking peace and tranquility and we found it! The spirit of the Lord met us right where we were. We will be visiting again.

Peaceful and charming

The place was great. We love nature and it was a beautiful view with lots of birds and animals we got to see. Bonnie was a great host and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Very private and large private porch and back yard. Lots of extras in the room!!! Highly recommend this place and I will be going back when I’m on that side of town!

It is nestled in an established neighborhood adjacent to a preservation easement on a large lake, & yet located central to everything! From the beaches to Disney & all Orlando attractions, to the Tampa Riverwalk & Ybor City, golf courses, natural springs, you name it.. It is 30 min to an hour away! Many grocery & convenience/drug stores are within 5 minutes, & a major shopping mall is only 10 minutes away!
