Cozy Ranch Guest Home located between Granbury and Glen Rose.

This Cozy Ranch Guest house is located between Granbury and Glen Rose with lots of things to do in the area. Turn right and you're 5 minutes to Granbury square. Turn left and you're 15 minutes to Glen Rose and Dinosaur Valley State Park. This new house sleeps 4 comfortably with vaulted ceilings in the living space and a gas fireplace for those cool evenings. Views of the horses or cattle from the house along with a back deck for dinner or drinks outside. The kitchen features all new appliances for cooking or use the BBQ out front. If you’re looking to take your boat to the lake (Lake Granbury) we have plenty of parking for a boat and trailer and you’re only 5 minutes to the boat ramp. Be sure to let us know if you want fresh farm eggs from our chickens waiting for you when you arrive. We sell them for $3 a dozen when available!

Awesome place to stay!

The property was very nice and clean with an awesome view. The property owner was also very kind and allowed my son to meet all of his animals which included horses, chickens, goats, rabbits, and cows. Great place and would recommend it to anybody who is staying around Granbury or Glen Rose.

Home away from Home

We cannot give high enough praise to this wonderful ranch house in Granbury. It truly was perfect for our needs when we stayed in the area for a family wedding. It served as a home base for our family of four as we bounced around to several commitments - some in Granbury and others in Glen Rose. It is perfectly situated between the two towns with easy access to all the amenities and attractions the area has to offer. Brad went above and beyond to host us and check on us and to help us when we left an item behind after checkout. I can’t think of anything that would’ve made our stay or experience any better. We hope to return in the future!

Great experience!

We had a group of five adults on a bachelorette weekend/shopping trip around Granbury. We chose to stay here because it was less expensive than the other options that were available for a group our size, and I’m so glad we did because we had a fantastic experience! It was the perfect size for us, very cute and well maintained. Communication was great and everyone we met was so friendly. We even got to meet some of the animals and give them treats. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. It’s a beautiful home and very well maintained. Our host (and his family) were wonderful and even introduced us to several of the farm animals! It was a great trip and I would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing place to “get away”

My friend and I wanted a girls trip where we might shop a day and also relax- play games, do a puzzle, sip some wine, and just visit. This was the place! We never got out of our pajamas one day as we were just so cozy. Loved everything about it.

Granbury Stay

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay away from the hustle of Fort Worth but close enough for day trips to Hico, Glen Rose and through Fossil Rim Wildlife Park. This was a perfect location just outside Granbury. The location is by itself, just off 144 which was concerning due to possible traffic noise. It was very quiet in my estimation. Would highly recommend this location to anyone wanting to visit the area. We may be back soon.

My new favorite place

This home is so perfect. In a gorgeous country location that takes all the stress away. It’s so comfy and fully equipped so you need not worry about a thing. The little deck with market lights gets the perfect breeze. The host was easy to reach and so kind. My only regret was not staying longer.

This cottage is located on a beautiful property that is definitely convenient to both Granbury and Glen Rose. The host was very kind, and the house was well appointed. We enjoyed everything about it, except the lack of attention to detail when it came to overall cleanliness was disappointing. Also, because it's located in the country, a variety of bugs come standard, inside and out. If they could do a more thorough job with cleaning and pest control, it would be perfect.

Home away from home

The place was clean and had a great layout. Spacious and well stocked kitchen for cooking meals. Farm fresh eggs were an added bonus. Close proximity to Fossil Rim & Dino Valley Park. Brad and his kids were so kind. They took the time to show our children their farm animals and our 2yo was over the moon to feed the horses!

Perfect Texas getaway!

We had the best time at the ranch! It's a perfect location for seeing Glen Rose and Granbury. The house is so clean and laid out nicely. Our girls 5, 3, and 1 looked forward to seeing/feeding the horses. The owners communicated so well and were very accommodating. The fresh eggs were a nice touch! Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Wonderful property & hosts!

You know when you get to a place and you can see how the pics were taken to flatter the place but the reality isn't so nice? This was the opposite - even better than we expected! We came from California for 4 nights during spring break to see dinosaur footprints and the eclipse. We had such a good time!! I wish we could have stayed longer and I might have tried to extend our stay were it not for obligations back home. Everything about the house was lovely, kitchen was well-stocked, tons of towels, no issues with noise, gorgeous decor. Tons of thoughtful little details - outlets/USB charging ports on lamps, luggage racks, bathroom has a heated fan for when you get out of the shower, treats for the horses. Brad gave us excellent local recommendations: - Fossil Rim Wildlife Center - wasn't on my radar at all - it was incredible and one of the highlights of the trip! - Granbury Town Square - highlights were the oils/vinegars/spices at 1870, toys and decor from Wagon Yard, and homemade fudge at Southern Star Market. Unfortunately the Silver Saddle Saloon was closed. - Stumpy's - went for lunch - the menu has a joke: "Kid's Menu aka duck food" - accurate. You could have walked across the hungry carp. - Hard 8 BBQ in Stephenville - we had never been to a BBQ place where you met the pit master - worth the drive! - Family ranch - Brad & family were so kind in showing us around and letting us meet their animals. Thanks so much Brad & fam!
