Greek Revival Farmhouse w/salt water hot tub near Stratton Mountain

1830 Greek Revival Farmhouse on a babbling brook, 10-15 minutes to Stratton Mountain ski resort. Walk to Jamaica Village businesses, live music and other events, Bee Well Homestead, the post office, yoga, West River Provisions and River & Rye whisky bar/restaurant. Screened-in porch has seasonal views, icebox, a ceiling fan, dart board, gas grill, a wood burning fireplace (also with small grill) and a nice salt water hot tub. The porch can seat 12-14 adults for family/group fireside dining on two folding beer garden tables, (normally the porch is set up with comfortable seating and the tables are stowed away in the kitchen). The kitchen can also accommodate up to 8 at the classic barnwood farm table plus 3 to 4 more at the bar. There’s one obvious master suite, but 3 couples + a few kids are well accommodated, each feeling almost like they have their own luxurious suite. The Queen bedroom, living room and connected bathroom is sometimes used as a guest suite and has its own refrigerator and coffee maker. The other king bedroom is upstairs in a large private space once used for drying herbs, but now also accommodates a ping pong table. WiFi is strong through high speed Xfinity cable internet. There are 3 smart flatscreen televisions. While we are located in the Green Mountain National Forest, we are not in the sticks. There are village sounds you will hear and either love or hate. If you stay more than a week you might hear the fire station. If you hear an air raid siren it either means they are responding to an emergency situation or it’s poker night.
