Our home is ready for your Ocean Grove vacation, we have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Sitting on the front porch with coffee or a glass of wine you can enjoy the OG lifestyle! Say hello to the neighbors and walk to everything. You’ll only have to cross one street to walk to the beach, once on the Boardwalk you can walk to Asbury to the north or Bradley, Avon and Belmar to the south. We love walking to Sea Grass on Main St for dinner and then to Day’s on Pitman St for ice cream. We try to provide all of the essentials, all you need are your personal belongings and favorite foods, we’ll take care of the rest, linens, towels, kitchenware, grill, 4 adult beach badges, beach chairs and umbrella.

Great Location! This quaint property is so close to the beach and all the fun in Asbury and Ocean Grove! There are stairs in the home, but we had no problem with them. Jennifer was a great host and easy to get ahold of. We loved the front porch, was so nice to sit out front and enjoy the gorgeous weather.

The house is in a wonderful location, just a hop, skip, and jump to the beach and the cute downtown. The house itself has a nice front porch that catches the breeze and some lovely old features, such as beautiful wood stairs and an antique bed in the main bedroom. It is decorated with fun art. Prospective guests should know that the second bathroom is on the first floor, and it has no fan. It does have a window, which is very hard to access because the shade, like the ones in the main bedroom, is broken.The host asks guests to be tolerant of the age of the house, but the things that frustrated us had no relevance to that. For example, while making dinner in the oven, the kitchen became unbearably hot. Then the very loud fan went on, and couldn't be turned off. It made cooking a miserable experience. Further, the cabinets were full of crumbs and the linoleum is pitted.We couldn't get the television remotes to take us anyplace watchable.

We had a fantastic time in Ocean Grove and Jennifer’s inviting house and her hospitality was key to that! The house was very comfortable, had all the beach equipment we needed, was wonderful to cook and eat meals at home in, and was such a short walk to the beach (which was so great with little kids!). The only downside of our trip was a hurricane interfered with several of our beach days - Jennifer, unprompted, reached out to see if we wanted to extend (for free) our final day, so that we could get to get to enjoy an extra day of beautiful beach weather. This was so kind and generous and enhanced our already very positive feelings! We would love to return next summer!

This house on Cookman Ave was absolutely wonderful. Great location close to the beach, downtown Ocean Grove and quick in and out drive to Ashbury park restaurants and art galleries. The House was exactly as described and shown in the pictures and has everything a family needs for a week at the beach. You dont need to bring anything. The House was very clean and well maintained. The host was easily accessible by the VRBO app and was always helpful with the few questions that we had. It was lovely to hang out on the porch in the cool of the early morning and evening.

May Days

A short May getaway with family. We explored Ocean Grove by spending time on the beach, walking to Main Street, and admiring the houses. The house is close to it all - beach, lake, town and we walked everywhere. The house met all of our needs. We had Tino’s pizza one night, and cooked at home our 2nd night. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bath and bedrooms were clean, well appointed, and felt fresh and welcoming.

Perfect Place for Our Off-Season Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Communication was clear, check-in was easy & the house was just as described in the listing. Comfortable accommodations and great location within easy walking distance to the beach. We appreciated the ample seating to spread out & get comfortable in the living room and nice appliances for making some meals at the house. The note & gift we received upon arrival made for an extra welcoming touch. Would consider staying here again or recommending to a friend. Thank you!

Christmas vacation

Property met our needs as we were just there to sleep and morning coffee. It was as a bit drafty as it was pretty chilly outside. Two of the adults are 78 years old and the strep stairs were a bit of a challenge for them. Especially the stairs to the basement. Location and communication with owner were excellent. It’s a very old property but again, it met our needs.

Great Victorian Weekend stay.

Our experience was amazing. We booked the weekend with friends from out of town and enjoyed all the events of Victorian weekend. Great communication with the host and easy check in. We were so surprised and happy to see the house decorated for Christmas. The outside lights,Christmas tree, towels and soaps were such a great surprise. The host left us a note and bottle of wine which was nice a thoughtful touch. It had all the comforts of home Kitchen had everything we needed and some staples in the fridge. The binder with WiFi info, restaurant recommendations And things to do was very helpful. I would rate this a 10/10. We will definitely be back.

Beach break!

My parents were visiting from England and my boyfriend and I decided to take them to the beach for a weekend. We could not have anticipated how perfect the trip would be! Firstly, the house is gorgeous and welcoming and cozy! The Christmas tree and holiday theme was so magical upon arrival. We particularly enjoyed the wine that was generously left for us by our lovely hosts, along with some delicious chocolates! Check in was simple and well communicated. The location was amazing and we enjoyed long walks on the boardwalk both north to Asbury Park and South to Bradley Beach. We saw whales both days which was such a highlight! The house exceeded our expectations and we felt very much at home, and loved playing the board games in the evening. We visited the local shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend staying here - it was a dream weekend!

Great place

We stayed here for a girls weekend and it was perfect. Plenty of room for 4 retired childhood friends. Jennifer’s place was clean and orderly. We had amazing weather, we sat on the beach, walked on the boardwalk, played games, laughed a ton and completely relaxed! Jennifer even left us a lovely bottle of wine to enjoy! The beach was walkable and there were beach chairs for us to use. I would definitely stay here again!

The property was clean, owners are quick to respond to messages. The only feedback I would give is that the railing in the front should be fixed. The are not sturdy ar all.
