This is a charming historic 1860's cottage in the heart of Missouri Wine Country. Nestled in the green foliage & trees, right on the creek. Wildlife and nature abound. It’s one of a kind.

The Ivy Cottage is a magical & eclectic private getaway for partners, two friends, or extended stay for remote work, writing, reading. Take a mental health break away from the hustle & bustle of your busy life. Our cottage is walking distance from downtown Hermann restaurants/bars/ live music. Hermann has a vast selection of biking/walking trails, wine, coffee, food, and vintage shops. This is our home away from home, we live here half of the year.

***Please keep in mind all three house rules prior to booking, as they are strictly enforced. 1.) This is a NON-SMOKING property. Absolutely no smoking or vaping on the property, in the cottage, or on the decks. A violation of this will be an additional $500 damage cleaning fee, and an immediate cancellation of your reservation. 2.) This is a two person property, per the permit through the city of Hermann. There is no more than two people allowed at the cottage and on this property at all times. If additional guests show up, you and your guest will be asked to leave. 3.) No pets. I am immunocompromised and this is my family home. Thank you in advance for respecting these three rules.

• Laundry facilities on-site w/ laundry soap provided.

For security purpose ONLY, there are 5 EXTERNAL Ring Flood Light Cameras on the property. Driveway, Lower Deck, Upper Deck, Rear Entry and Side of the Home. Rear Entry and Upper Deck cameras can be turned on and off for privacy. Directions are provided in the House Binder located in the Kitchen.
