Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in, Kommunikation und Lage
Brilliant location, helpful owners, however a little run down in places.
We rented this house for the location and by Los Angeles standards it is fairly close to most tourist areas by car. The house is spacious and has a huge master suite, the fourth bedroom was extremely small however & not up to the standard of the other rooms so we couldn’t use it.
Check in and instructions were easy and the owners responded quickly to my messages and the owner kindly allowed me a late check out till 1pm.
The property has everything you need however some areas were becoming very run down.
There were several broken things in the property, a broken speaker, loose curtain poles, shower jets not working in main master shower and mouldy, no plug in one of the baths, tap loose on the wall, spotlight in bedroom ceiling broken, one of the snooker cues broken. None of these things really affected our time there but I mentioned them to the owner on arrival just so they were aware that we didn’t cause the damage and they said OK so I assume the issues have been there for some time.
The tennis court is lovely, and the gym is functional however very old and worn. They are both up some steep steps which didn’t bother us but probably should be in the description. We found the tennis court to be immaculate, the furniture on it however was not!
Our main disappointment was the outside area, it was very unkempt and untidy. The pool wasn’t very clean and everywhere around the pool was quite dirty. I would only recommend once issues are fixed. Certainly not luxury at the moment.
