Find your Oasis on Lake Gogebic! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home overlooking beautiful Lake Gogebic, the largest lake in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is a one of a kind vacation destination. It was recently remodeled. The main level is handicap accessible with ramp, 36" doorways and roll in shower.
Guests love it for all seasons. Are you fishing for a walleye or jumbo perch? Or the beauty of the fall colors? Maybe snowmobiling on 1000+ miles of groomed trails (braap)? With an annual snowfall of nearly 300 inches, Lake Gogebic is situated on the best snowmobile trail system in the country. We are located right by Trail 1 on the West Shore. If some R & R in the Northwoods is your jam, cozy up to the fireplace and play some chess or visit the local shops. There is plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers. A dock onsite. Forget something or don't feel like cooking-- Gogebic Lodge is located right next door for gas, bait, restaurant and bar.

This place was Beautiful!!! The view was stunning on a sunny day. The house is right on the water. The place is decorated so great and everything is exactly as stated.It is very clean and so cute.They had plenty of toilet paper and paper, towel towels, and dish soap and hand soap. And garbage bags. If you didn't want to, you wouldn't have to bring any of that.We would absolutely go back again.

Amazing place ! Perfect get away right on the lake. Great views and access. Perfect location on the lake also for fishing. Relatively private just one neighbor on the right side that is very kind and minds their own business. Tore up the fish and truly enjoyed this property.

Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful week! The house is clean and many extras are included. From the light switches having labels to the numerous bath towels, the homeowners have gone above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The extra touches are much appreciated and make this cabin feel like home. We enjoyed the fireplace and used the boat dock. The fishing wasn’t great but we made the most of our time on the water. I highly recommend this property!

Property is clean and well organized. Beautiful deck on the back of the house with lots of seats. Owners are readily available for questions. Both kids and adults enjoyed fishing and even caught fish right off the dock!

Great cabin experience

Good cabin, great parking, the upstairs bathroom sink and bathtub have drain issues, and we didn't receive an access code to get in initially, but through the VRBO website I was connected with Wayne (the owner) and was given the lockbox code. (An owners phone number would be nice to have prior to arrival.) Overall it was a great weekend, and the cabin was a part of that experience. I have stayed there in the past, and will most likely stay again.

Great Place to stay for Snowmobiling or Ice fishing

Oasis North was a great place to stay for our snowmobiling trip! Plenty of room for parking for our three trucks and trailers. Easy access to the trail systems. We cooked all our dinners in home and had all the kitchen supplies we needed. Kitchen table was perfect for big dinners or playing cards every night. Gas fire place was nice and kept us warm. The beds were comfortable and water pressure was good in the showers. Hosts were very nice and responsive. All and all it was a great time!

Great location. Not very clean.

The cabin is in a great location and the host was very receptive when I had questions.However…the biggest problem was the mouse droppings found under the toaster (after we already used it for the day), the dishes were not clean and had to be washed before using. The upstairs shower has a slow draIn so you stand in 2-3 inches of water when you use it. The upstairs toilet was loose and wobbly. When you take the garbage out, it needs to be driven down the long driveway and across the street (I’m not even sure I put in the right place) and is no fun when it is below zero outside.

Lake Gogebic is our second home and a great way to escape the city life.

Oasis North is a prime location on Lake Gogebic. Located 1 driveway north of Gogebic Lodge- one of the most happening resorts on the lake. Great for drinks, food, boat rentals and bait. The cabin has lots of parking for snowmobile trailers and boats. The deck is amazing to enjoy the view-- it's 40 feet from the water. You can't get any closer than that! The entire cabin has been remodeled in 2021 with more upgrades coming soon. It's a great destination spot for any season to enjoy the outdoors!
