Great Apartment

We really enjoyed staying in this property. It was easy to find, and the house/property is beautiful. The property owners were very nice and made themselves available to us if we needed them. I imagine that this would be a great place to stay on an App State home football weekend. 10/10!

Relaxing Getaway

The place was modern, clean, well-stocked, easy to check in and out. Relaxing in the space was easy and it was close to Boone, Blowing Rock and Appalachian Ski Resort - all places we were aiming to visit.

Great Place!

Definitely recommend! Very clean and cute. Great location for visiting Boone. We did have some trouble getting here as the address wouldn’t pull up but Justin sent a very helpful message about how to get there! Overall a great experience!

Great Location, Great Property, Great Hosts

The property is very neat, has all amenities needed and very central to all attractions. Host is very responsive and even added additional direction instructions in case we would have difficulty finding the property. Additionally host went above and beyond to accomodate my 9 year old son. One of the best places we've stayed so far. Thank you Justin and family.

Quiet, pristine getaway

I remember thinking that this apartment couldn't be as nice as the photos, but it was! I was so impressed with how beautifully the owners used the space over their garage to create a retreat that's perfect for 2 people. My husband and I loved how quiet the neighborhood is and how the apartment is as nice as a 4-star or 5-star hotel without the price tag. The hosts are friendly and responsive, too, and they've thought of many little things that make for a comfortable stay (like room darkening curtains). For those who like the outdoors, there isn't a patio or balcony, but I believe the hosts have a firepit area that we didn't use. I recommend this apartment!

Wonderful, clean, and quiet

This is one of the best VRBO experiences I have had. My wife and I had just got married and we were looking for a quiet place. We were initially apprehensive because it's above a garage, however, once in the unit you would have no clue, and the views are absolutely stellar. The hosts were communicative and extraordinarily kind, they even got us a small wedding gift of nice chocolates. If I am ever in the Boone area again, this will be one of my top choices to stay.

A lovely sanctuary nestled in the hills

We really enjoyed the time we spent here. It was well appointed, quiet and comfortable. We are "flat-landers" so it took a bit of adjustment driving on the roads, but it was all paved and two lanes to the turn-off. There is a bit of gravel on the final approach, but really quite easy. This is high country living, after all.Our navigator app had a bit of trouble finding the location initially, but once we did it was quiet easy. I'd guess it was about 10 minutes from the center of Boone. The home was immaculate and the host, Justin, responded very promptly to our questions. Should our travels bring us to Boone again, we'd definitely stay there.

Beautiful new, modern apartment above garage. Great kitchen! It was as lovely as the pictures. Short drive into town. Paved parking, but gravel approach road. Laundry is a plus! Only thing I would suggest is some sort of outdoor area for renters to sit and enjoy outdoors. Thank you!

Perfect Place to Stay for a Boone, NC Trip

Check in was simple with an email sent days before with the code to the door. The garage apartment is extremely well built with all granite counter tops, heat system that worked fast, instant hot water, and even solid wood doors throughout. Plenty of towels were provided plus extras such as coffee and some homemade granola which was delicious and even linen sheets. We own beachfront rental condos so we notice a lot of things others might miss! The area is quiet but very close to downtown Boone and Appalachian State. I would definitely recommend this modern mountain getaway for your stay.

Most Amazing Hosts Ever!!!

This rental property is immaculate! The hosts are far above anybody we have ever rented from, without exception! They are kind, super efficient, excellent communicators, super easy to reach if there’s a problem, and helpful in every way possible. The rental is modern, thought out well, nicely decorated, quiet, and in a perfect location for visits to Boone. You’re only a few minutes from town, but you feel like you’re miles away. Everything about this place is cozy! We also appreciated the amazing coffee and granola you left for us, many thanks! Renting from you was such a breath of fresh air! You made everything so easy, which was seriously refreshing and relaxing. We can’t thank you enough and hope to stay here again, when we visit Boone!! Sincerely and deeply grateful!!

Fabulous space and location!

My husband and I stayed at this cute apartment to experience a mountain getaway and visit with friends in Boone. First impression was that the space was immaculate, very nicely designed and well thought out. It is obvious our hosts paid great attention to detail when creating this space. It was well supplied with everything you'd need in a kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The king size bed was very comfortable that included a cozy comforter. The location was perfect as it is tucked away on a mountain top which created a very settled and relaxing experience but downtown Boone was only ten minutes away. I will mention that the living room couch and chairs as well as the kitchen chairs were not as comfortable as we would have liked but it was not a deal breaker. The hosts were great. They helped us out when my husband got sick and brought over Tylenol and a thermometer. Overall, it was a 5 star experience for us and we would definitely rent here again.

All the amenities were excellent. Justin communicated all information we needed, plus he provided phone contact number if we needed to talk to him directly. The message communication is all we needed to use. Local ground coffee and home made granola were provided, a nice touch. The views were gorgeous, even with the rain, during out stay. Premises were spotless and everything we needed for our stay was provided. Parking spot was two - three steps to apartment entrance with easy in and out. One best word for the apartment and location, Wow!
