Inlet Cottage - Oregon Beach Vacations

If you come to the beach to enjoy the rush and roar of surf and the sun setting on the horizon, this clean, open concept, single-level home is your perfect place to stay in Lincoln City. Situated on a bluff over the beach with a large Trex deck for 180-degree views to Cascade Head, this home puts the ocean front and center. Floor-to-ceiling windows open the great room to Pacific panoramas, with a rock-faced gas fireplace on the western wall for cozy evenings. A leather sofa and chairs cluster around the big flatscreen TV; the dining table provides a spot for take-out or a home-cooked feast or belly up to the breakfast bar for a cup of coffee and a stack of pancakes. This updated kitchen has stainless appliances, a glass-tile backsplash and beautiful countertops. Your location on a quiet, dead-end residential street promises a good night's sleep in the king and queen bedrooms. You're also close to a swimming pool at the Community Center, a skatepark, Barnacle Bill's local seafood and the dining and shopping options of the Oceanlake District. All the other attractions of Lincoln City, including the Chinook Winds Casino and the Lincoln City Outlets, are minutes away by car.

This house was great. The beds were comfy the views of my gosh you had the best view with the ocean sounds can not brat that. We would definitely stay here again. This was our 37 anniversary weekend an it was fantastic. Was very easy to find the house as well. All one floor was a hit for us. Maybe a half step to get the door had a little bit of a tough time with my bad knees. Other then that this house was great. Thank you.

incredible view

The view was stunning and all that we hoped for. The house is clean and comfortable. We were outside mostly since we had beautiful weather.I ended up cleaning the windows myself to get rid of some streaks and enhance our view. Other than that it was perfect.

Great place for storm watching

We really enjoyed the show (stormy weather) from both the deck and the living room. Great views for a single story house. Great food at the nearby restaurants. We ate out and enjoyed takeout dining. Everything we wanted was just a short walk/drive from the house. We look forward to our next visit.

It's a nice property. Couple of issues - the previous guests had not put trash on the curb and apparently neither had the clean up crew as the outside trash was overflowing. We put the trash on the curb after communicating with the property manager. Then the smoke alarm in the kitchen went off every time we opened the oven door. May need to check the battery. Otherwise the cabin was clean and as advertised.

A nice little house with a decent view of the beach. Accessing the beach was difficult. None from the property and the nearest access was a few blocks away which is fine. Minor issues were things like I had to get on my tip toes to reach the shower head or even the wand and I'm 5'7. One in our party needed help with that...lol. The back slider to the deck would not latch in the locked position but a a length of PVC pipe laid in the track helped. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfy. Overall we left very satisfied.

Best View!

Very comfortable house with plenty of space for 4 people. The tub was a bit high and was difficult getting an elder into it. But everything was clean, organized. I've stayed at many houses and I must say this house had the best view of the pacific.

Endless view

Prior to my check in, I had a few questions. In each instance, I received responses within an hour. Immediately upon opening the door and walking in I was hit with 180 endless view of the pacific! Unit was clean, bright and comfortable. The kitchen was first rate and the beds were incredibly comfortable. My wife and I slept incredibly well between the comfort of the mattress and the sound of the surf. The only negative I could possibly give is some sort of wind break on the sides of the deck would increase the usability.(But I don’t know if the winds we experienced or a constant) would very much recommend this property.

Wonderful home on the beach

My wife and I spent three wonderful days in this place. We loved the home and the spectacular views from the windows and the deck. It is amazing to sit on the deck and enjoy the sight and sounds of the Pacific Ocean. The home is very clean and well kept. We felt very comfortable and at home. The house sits on a cliff overlooking the beach and ocean. The access to the beach can be gained by public access steps which are either a few blocks north or a few blocks south. These steps are numerous and steep. This would be quite a challenge for anyone with limited mobility. If mobility is not a challenge then this place is perfect in every other way. We loved it and would very much like to return someday.
