Beware of the bait & switch. Booked a 2 night stay at “the Club at Brickell Floor 29 Great View”. A few days before our trip, my rest changed to a 3 night stay & so did the charges. I informed the host who said he’d review the matter. On the day before our trip, I was told that we were being relocated to a different unit. I repeatedly requested photos of the new unit but never received them. Upon arrival, the app to open & close the front door didn’t work but the door was unlocked. There was no toilet paper on the holder or anyplace else. I told the host who said they provide an initial set in the unit but don’t replenish. We had to go out to buy it b/c they don’t have 24/7 housekeepers & we weren’t going to get any until the next day. The sliding glass doors didn’t lock. The kitchen wasn’t updated like the photos. The balcony furniture was old & rusted. The ice maker didn’t work & leaked all over the kitchen floor. The shower head squirted water into the bathroom over the curtain. The great view was not great b/c we were on the opposite side & other end of the building. The bathroom floor was dirty. The corridor was not decorated like the photos show with the planters. The cushions on the outdoor furniture by the pool were nasty looking & water stained. Whenever I contacted the host, I got what seemed like an auto reply b/c it never addressed the issues. Upon leaving, I asked what to do with the sheets & towels. Again, I received an auto reply. We got bamboozled!
