Unfortunately I had a mix up with the host and was unable to get into the unit so I cannot say how the inside of the apartment was. The code assigned to me did not work to get in. The host does have designated parking in the back for each unit so that was nice. It was late when I arrived but I was unable to get in contact with the host via text or call so I ended up sleeping in my car. Probably won't stay again.

The room was definitely smaller than the pictures made it seem to be. Not bad for two people, however if it were anymore, it would be too crowded. There were significant stains on one of the main couches and for that reason we didn’t even hang out in the living room due to the stains. The host is great I will say that and the check in was very easy. Disclaimer: IF YOU ARE A LIGHT SLEEPER, do not stay here, the walls are paper thin and you can hear all the condos around you and everything they are saying and at night there are constant train sounds and sirens. Luckily for us, we were heavy sleepers, but we definitely heard everything. The kitchen has adequate utensils and the linens were clean enough. I think it was a solid little place to stay if you aren’t too picky,

Poor location with loud street noise all night. Dingy building. Very small and tight unit, especially bathroom. Pictures are deceiving. Sheets on main bed covered in black hair. Extra Memory foam mattress covered in hair and filth. Hole in bathroom door. Sofa bed filthy and unusable. Lockbox with key to unit was unlocked. Hard surfaces were very clean.

The location is perfect for quick beach access. Communication was quick and easily accessible. The unit itself was terrible. The front door to the building and the front door to the unit are difficult, heavy, and not user friendly. It slerps 2, not 4. There is a loveseat that folds into a bed that is small, old, dusty, and crusty. Not to mention back breaking. The water stopped working in the shower mid shower. It was just not in any way comfortable. I would not recommend this rental.

Nice Place to Stay!

The apartment was pretty clean and the owner answered quickly. I would say if you struggle going up and down stairs be cautious because you have to walk up some stairs to get to the apartment itself. It was kept nice and tidy and it was a perfect place to stay for my friend and I especially since we were out and about most of the trip. Justin was very accommodating!

This property is not worth the extra fees. The added fees almost doubled the cost of my stay!!!The neighborhood is not safe and I couldn't keep anything stored on my car. The apartment looked like a 1960s mobile home with pressed wood cardboard walls and ceilings and some black mold in the shower The carpet was damp.

Great for the price!

Michigan City is an affordable place to stay to see all the great sites of Indiana's shore of Lake Michigan. This air bnb was affordable had parking and was only a short drive to many great attractions. Attractions like Washington Park Beach, Indiana Dunes, lighthouse premium outlets, and Bass Pro Shop in Portage. Also great local restaurants like Kolasa's Polish restaurant and Chickpea(Mediterranean Food). We would most definitely and do plan on staying here again!

Trip to Indiana Dunes

This place worked well for a short trip visiting Indiana Dunes. The only issue we had was that the cleaning crew hadn’t come by before we got there, but that was likely just a fluke and the host was very quick to respond when I messaged him about it and had it completely taken care of within an hour. Michigan City is a good location to find nearby restaurants and is just 10 minutes to the eastern side of the National Park.

Anniversary getaway

My husband and I booked this apartment for a belated anniversary getaway. It is not in the nicest building, but once the housekeeping service came and cleaned it up, it was great. Justin was easy to deal with, and was good at communication.

Ideal spot close to everything!

This location was just what my partner and I needed for the few days we were visiting the region. The place is small and older, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including linens, extra toiletries, and even beach towels. The parking spot in the back was a nice addition and while the location itself isn’t right in the middle of everything, it’s a quick 5-10 minute drive to the Michigan City beach and restaurants. We also enjoyed the quick 20-40 drives to New Buffalo and St. Joseph. The only downside was that we were a little confused on which door to enter since there are multiple with keypads. The owner answered our question promptly and we were good to go!
