Wonderful place near the sea

Stunning views of Tropic of Cancer Beach and a gorgeous house with everything we needed. Exumas as hard to beat with each more beautiful than the next. 3 bedroom house and pool was perfect for our group. We already want to go back!

Amazing house with beautiful views! Scott and Kelly were amazing hosts. Our kids loved the pool and the beautiful beach. We are so thankful for a wonderful week!

Unforgettable vacation

Lovely new villa. Very clean and very well equipped. Andrew was very helpful, always in touch with us with all our needs. Beach is only few min away and villa has beautiful views! Kids loved the pool. Couldn't have asked for better. We had a great vacation and would highly recommend it.

Privacy and Comfort

We enjoyed staying at this new construction. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with needed items to cook with, and bathrooms were spacious and showers (esp the outside shower) so nice. Homeowner responded promptly and so did the property manager who lived quite close. While not on the beach, the view to the beach was gorgeous and the walk to the beach was easy enough. The water is the prettiest we’ve seen anywhere. Definitely a private location which was great for us—but you will want to stock up on groceries because it is a haul back to the grocery on a pretty bumpy road. We would choose this home again if we come back to Exuma.

Your own personal paradise

The Sunset Villa is everything you could ask for — it is new, well-apppointed, clean, private, and walking distance from a beautiful quiet beach. We loved exploring Exuma, but it goes to show what a delight the Sunset Villa was that the times we enjoyed the most were cooking family dinners together at home, enjoying the sunset by the pool, reading our books on the lounge chairs in the heat of the day, walking down to the beach for a swim, or enjoying a board game together in the living room at night. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to others. Andrew, the property manager, was attentive to our needs and made sure everything was in order. It was great knowing that if something was amiss, we could rely on him for his advice and help.

Beautiful Home, Amazing Beach

This house is exactly as pictured and described. Clean throughout. Well stocked kitchen with all the gadgets. Plenty of seating for hanging out inside or out. Gas grill on the patio. Great pool and plenty of beach towels and beach gear/toys. Just a short hike or drive to the beach. Amazing star gazing at night. The roads in Exuma are skinny and winding. The roads in Little Exuma are not paved and well...think surface of the moon. Rent a Jeep! Plan to eat in and plan meals in advance. It is a hike into town and the markets close at 6pm on weekdays and 3pm on Sunday. There is not a ton to do so plan to relax and bake in the sun. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for low key and absolutely beautiful surroundings inside and out. Check in and check out was super easy. Kelly is amazing and speedy responsive. Definitely 5 Stars!

Wonderful Stay

We had a fabulous time at Sunset Villa. The place is brand new, including a brand new BBQ. The bedrooms, bathrooms and outdoor areas, including the pool are fantastic. Some may worry that it’s not on the beach, but it’s a simple 3-5 minute walk to Sugar Beach and Tropic of Cancer beach. The road to the house is a little rough, but manageable if you have 4WD. Kelly was very responsive and Andrew was super helpful. He even sourced grouper for us to grill. I’m almost reluctant to write a review, because I know it will be harder to book in the future. Little Exuma is extra quiet and peaceful. The only thing I would recommend is bringing a wireless speaker so you can listen to music next to the pool. There is a super sound system inside and you can angle the speakers towards the patio doors if need be. We were all very sad to leave. It’s a very special place. Sunsets are incredible.

Tropic of Cancer BEAUTIFUL home

We had a high school grad trip for my daughter and the accommodations were excellent! Everything was in order, AC worked great, kitchen was stocked with everything you need....even condiments were there. 10 minute walk to the beach, awesome sunsets, great pool and sun deck. Great Exuma is filled with the most beautiful beaches and the Tropic of Cancer beach is one of them! I recommend renting a vehicle and shopping before you head there, it is about 30 minutes from a grocery store. We BBQ'd and cooked a few nights, visited many beaches, and since Mother Nature did not cooperate everyday, we were more than comfortable hanging out, playing cards, and we were even able to watch the playoff games at the house. Scott and Kelly have a beautiful home! Their property manager, Andrew, is in the area to help with requests and questions. We will be back, as Great Exuma is our go to in the Bahamas. Kelly was in contact during the whole trip and went above and beyond to help us and make sure we were comfortable.

Tropic of Cancer Beach!

We had a wonderful visit to Exuma and an excellent stay at Sunset Villa. The villa was exactly as described in the listing - in reality better than I hoped. Location: Little Exuma and Sunset Villa is quiet and peaceful, feels slightly remote but just a short easy walk to Tropic of Cancer Beach - one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever experienced. Villa: 3 very comfortable King beds (one can actually be split into two twins - so perfect for singles, kids or couples. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to cook - we did most nights. Plenty of beach towels available with washer and dryer in the villa to have a fresh beach towel everyday. Actually bring half the clothing you think you need. Wash if you need. The View: amazing view overlooking the private pool and of Tropic of Cancer beach - perfect for early morning coffee on the patio or watching the sunset each evening. We visited a few other beaches on the island but really didn’t need to - the best was right there. The guys went bone fishing two of the days while we stayed to enjoy the beach, visited Mom’s bakery and had drinks and the best burger at the little snack shack at the entrance to Tropic of Cancer beach - a nice surprise. My daughter and her friend loved that. Beach Chairs and floats were perfect touch at the villa to make our beach days long and relaxing. We are all ready to plan our next visit to Exuma and will definitely stay at Sunset Villa again. Such a relaxing time!
