Alder Cabin: Trails Across Street, Wood Stove, Bunk Beds, Patio

Relax on the deck of our Tahoe Donner cabin, take in the pines and mountain air, and recharge! Inside you'll find an open living area with vaulted pine ceilings and huge windows filling the room with light, large kitchen, wood burning stove to gather around on cooler nights, three well-furnished rooms and plenty of amenities. Access 60+ miles of hiking and biking trails and the Adventure Center outside the front door, and use the guest passes for Donner amenities. Kids love the bunks and Wii!

Sleeps up to 8 adults (plus an additional child under 7 years old), making our home a perfect destination home for families and friends.

KITCHEN:
Fully stocked kitchen with gas range and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, tea kettle, drip coffee maker, and everything needed to prepare a holiday feast! A granite island separates the open concept living area, providing additional seating, and aids in serving larger meals. The large dining table sits up to 8 and is perfect for gathering with friends and family over a home-cooked meal.

3 total bedrooms, including a master suite:
Bedroom 1 - Master suite with a California king bed, smart TV, and bathroom with large walk-in shower, jetted tub, and double vanity
Bedroom 2- Queen bed, TV, chair sleeper (suitable for a child), lovely views of the forest, accented with modern barn door closet
Bedroom 3 – Queen bed, twin over twin bunk bed, TV, lovely views of the forest, accented with modern barn door closet

2.5 total bathrooms, the master bath and half bath are on the main level and the second bathroom is on the lower level

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
* 8 adults (plus an additional child under 7 years old) MAX
* 3 cars MAX - No exception. Two in garage and one in driveway. No street parking.
* Slight incline to driveway that can be slick in the winter without 4 wheel drive or chains.

We expect all guests to be respectful, mature, and responsible. We have a zero-tolerance policy for abusive and negligent guests, loud groups, etc. If looking to squeeze 20 people into a house and party hard, this is not the home. This is a tasteful and expensively appointed home - please treat it as your own! Guests agree to comply with Truckee and Tahoe Donner Vacation Home Rental ordinances, and failing to do so may result in egregious penalties, fines (up to $5,000!!!! from Tahoe Donner), and even eviction. Visit Tahoe Donner's and Truckee’s website for current ordinance as this is incorporated into this agreement.

GUEST COVID-19 NOTICE
We have developed a COVID-19 Plan which includes several additional measures and modifications to our operations and policies to help mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Some of these are identified below. Despite these efforts, we cannot eliminate the risk of COVID-19 transmission so please be extremely cautious and careful and travel at your own risk!
* Best Practice: Please wash hand thoroughly, especially when leaving or entering home. Use sanitizer where available as extra measure. Be mindful of guidance for physical distancing and use of face coverings when in public.
* Symptomatic / Positive Test: If you are knowingly / suspected to be infected with COVID-19 please contact us right away. Extra measures will be taken in such cases.
* Increased Surface Cleaning and Disinfecting: Surfaces and highly touched items are cleaned and dis-infected
* Vacuum cleaner w/ HEPA filter: we have supplemented vacuum inventory with additional HEPA filter vacuums and staff are instructed to use these.
* Linens and Trash: Sheets and towels are professionally laundered every-time, and trash is hauled off site promptly.
* Staff Policy: Staff are instructed to wear PPE and face coverings while operating in homes, as appropriate , and are not to work if exhibiting symptoms.
* Comforters: A fresh comforter casing system every booking.
