The loft was clean, cozy, and comfortable! Betty made it very easy to get the keys and was able to answer all questions! The living room ceiling fan just needs a new string to be able to turn off the fan. A throw blanket for the couch would have been nice as well. Overall Iā€™d stay here again!

My wife and I have to come into Detroit every week to work. We have stayed at probably 12 different apartments and this was the absolute best. The furniture was so comfortable and the building was super quiet and peaceful. Absolute 10/10 for us.

Exactly what I needed

I had a fantastic stay. It was hotter than hades outside but the loft stayed nice and cool with the ac going. Listing mentioned possible noise issues but that was not my experience, even with the Ford fireworks going on, I slept like a baby. Bed was insanely comfortable, and the entire loft was so cute and cozy. I absolutely loved how close it was to everything also, very convenient location. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

My husband and I were in town for Kevin Hart's comedy show. We had a fantastic experience and the loft was about a mile from Fox Theatre. We were able to walk to and from, which was awesome!

While the check-in process is a little confusing, and the building/parking lot look a little scetchy, the room its self was really nice, very clean and the bed is so comfy after having a long night at a concert! The host was easily contacted and quick to respond as well. Overall we had a nice stay!

Great place to stay for someone looking for an urban spot

This is a fun place to stay in a convenient location. The location feels somewhat isolated and the hallways and exterior of the building feel gritty, but the unit is just as pictured and very comfortable. My partner was delighted that there was a yoga mat and kettlebells available for a workout. It's just a 12-minute walk from a couple of great breweries and less than a mile from a lovely path along the river.

Urban industrial space with a creative decor. The unit itself is a large studio with high ceilings and large windows. It was clean and well equipped with a small kitchen and nice sitting space. The bed was large and comfortable. We did not hear any neighbor noise until 6:30am and then we could very loudly hear someone walking and moving things around above us - unfortunately even the prpvided ear plugs couldnā€™t block that noise. The multistory building that houses the unit is very old and rough around the edges (strong smoke scent - cigarette and pot, run down and not the cleanest). The neighborhood is very industrial with many closed businesses, but is just a few blocks from the shopping district of Corktown - which has cute restaurants and bars. Check out the delicious restaurant, Alpino for very tasty food/drinks and a cute outdoor patio.

Simple, clean, and beautiful!

Betty's loft was Simple, clean and beautiful. It was the perfect place for my wife and I to enjoy our stay while we celebrated our 10 year anniversary in the enchanting city of Detroit. The the layout of the loft along with way the evening sunlight laid upon the room made for some ethereal photo opportunities. Betty was very attentive, responsive, and was quick to make sure that we were taken care of. Looking forward to renting from her in the future.

Check in is a little confusing, you can park in front or back but to get the key you have to be in the front. There was no hot water when showering & the ac units canā€™t keep up. Not the best area & you can hear everything. Which is understandable.
