Walk in to this spacious, entertaining home that is a perfect getaway place. This home has a rustic-mountain feel with a wrap around porch screened in on top and open on bottom. Equipped with an incredible kitchen with double ovens, granite countertops that are perfect for entertaining, a stone wood-burning fire place, and comfortable seating makes this house feel like home. The home has two full-sized refrigerators, a coffee bar, an adult-bar equipped with a collection of glassware, and plenty of conversation pieces. The open floor concept is available upstairs and downstairs. Within minutes of downtown Mt. Airy, the quiet neighborhood is perfect for riding bikes or walking. Quick trip to the Parkway, 30 minutes to Winston-Salem. Minutes away from golf courses, Pilot Mountain, Hanging Rock, and Buffalo Mountain. Don't forget how close you are to several of our favorite wineries.

Absolutely amazing house!!! Super clean and cozy. Family of five all felt very comfortable and lots of rooms for personal space. Equipped with everything you need and more. All appliances worked great! We had no issues. The host has become a new friend, she’s very attentive and made sure our stay was great. Perfect location, easy drive to downtown. Wonderful friendly clean neighborhood with deer roaming in the afternoons. Very nice porch with swing to relax. Enjoyed our stay very much!

We really enjoyed the spacious house. Everyone had privacy for sleeping. Lunch at Jolos’s winery and fun playing cards and fixing dinner. We enjoyed the porch for our morning coffee. Host was so pleasant and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Linda

Wonderful Home

We came to stay in Mount Airy with my son and Family for Christmas vacation. What a warm and welcoming home. The basement had tons of room for the boys to play and enjoy themselves. The Main Floor had a Huge Kitchen and LOTS of counter space for us to make meals. Loved the fireplace and already seasoned wood to enjoy the cold winter nights! We would definitely Highly recommend this Gem of a Home! There’s Snow Place Like Home made our time for this Christmas special! Thanks for sharing your home! Home Away from Home

When we walked inside, we were awestruck. This property was so much more impressive than we imagined or that the pictures showed. It was impeccably decorated and fully stocked. Perfect, comfortable and clean! So nice we were compelled to clean the place up to make it just as nice for the next person! Downtown and Mayberry tour was amazingly cool and worth the experience. Jolo winery was beautiful. The price was very fair.

Absolutely Perfect

From the moment of the booking to check-out, everything was perfect. Krystal was an incredible host. We had to book the home on short notice due to a death in the family. Not only did she assist us, she left us a beautiful condolence that we received upon arrival. She has created a great space and thought of all the little touches. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, plenty of TP, hangers, comfortable sheets and even a laundry basket in every room. There was plenty of dishes to cook, and the extra fridge was a great bonus.

You won't need for anything when you come to Snow Place Like Home. With a fully equipped kitchen and stocked pantry, it will be an ease to have a home-cooked meal. The spacious living room allows for the perfect space to gather around the fire or watch TV. With an open space downstairs that is used for another gathering place, game room, and common sleeping area, guests can enjoy both upstairs and downstairs simultaneously. The beds are quite comfortable in each room with unique décor mimicking the places we have lived and loved.
