Home away from home

Unexpected treasure. Quiet neighborhood, very clean house the host was very attentive to our needs. Bath towels, beach towels were available plus beach accessories which were a plus, we spent our trip beach hopping. It was great to return after a long trip to a cozy home. Overall the best stay

This place is a Gem

This property had everything we needed. From cooking utensils to beach chairs, beach umbrella, life jackets for the kids, games, toys, high chairs, etc. Great salt water pool and outdoor space, including a covered car port to sit under if it’s raining. Location was ideal for our family,close to a grocery store, restaurants and El Yunque rain forest is a short drive. A recommendation from one of the neighbors was to go to the El Hippie waterfall and swimming hole a short 20 minute drive, what a great place and we spent several hours swimming and laying in the sun on the rocks. Also, listen for the ice cream truck.

Amazing Stay in Punta Santiago

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming Vrbo house in Punta Santiago, and it exceeded all expectations. The location was absolutely ideal, nestled close to the beautiful Caribbean coast and within easy reach of other nearby towns, making it perfect for a laid-back yet adventurous vacation.The house itself was cozy and well-maintained, with a spacious interior that allowed for both relaxation and socializing. The open-plan living area was bright and airy, and the kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals when we wanted to dine in. Bedrooms were comfortable, offering restful nights after a day of exploring.One of the standout features was the outdoor space. The patio area provided ample space and was a great spot to unwind, whether it was enjoying morning swim or sipping cocktails at sunset. The property was also a short drive away from some lovely local attractions, beaches, and towns like Humacao and Maunabo, giving us plenty of options for day trips and dining out.The hosts were incredibly accommodating, providing us with useful local tips and ensuring our stay was as smooth as possible. They were responsive to any questions or concerns, which really added a personal touch to the experience.Overall, if you’re looking for a peaceful yet convenient spot in Puerto Rico, this is the place!

Great place to unwind and recharge your batteries. The house has everything you need if you want to stay in. Plenty of restaurants located within 20 minutes. Pool and backyard is amazing. Definitely coming back again and highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay! The house was clean and beautiful. Only down fall was the roosters that would make noise in the middle of the night/morning. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay here!

Beautiful home

This home was amazing it was fully equipped with everything and when I say everything I mean everything down to a crib and high chair which was very handy for our little one that we brought with us the pool was amazing and very beautiful the kids loved it the house accommodated 8 adults and three kids and the host was very good at communicating with us even sent us info of some things going on around town when we decided to come back to Puerto Rico we will definitely be using them again and would definitely recommend them to family and friends

Great vacation in Puerto Rico

The property was as listed. Just the right size for our family. Beds and sheets were really comfortable. It was nice having AC in each room and we could control them ourselves. Hot water was available when needed. Only 1 day of lost power but the owner kept us informed of when it came back on since we were gone for the day. Towels were in good shape, including beach towels. Stayed at other places where the towels were worn. Neighbors were friendly. It was neat seeing the iguanas and other wildlife. The rooster next door was a little bit of a nuisance in the middle of the night. Great place to stay if you want a true PR experience. Would stay here again. ❤️

The property itself was really good. They went above in some details, like having coffee and some essentials but lack in the basics, there was no soap or additional Toilet paper, and bugs products. The lakeside, was not a lake was stagnant water that created a lot of mosquitos and bugs. They provided some left over citronella candles with no matches or lighter to light it up. The hours of check in and check out were not the same as the reservation which made us wait to check in and leave earlier that what we expected. All the dinning options and places to go suggested were closed and we needed to go long distance to get essentials. Overall the only good thing was the pool which with the bugs couldn't enjoy fully.

Perfect for home away from home

What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get and it was great! The house is the last house next to a small lake in a quiet neighborhood. The neighbors were so friendly to talk to. The pool was priceless for the kids on the days the beaches were on red and when it rained and we couldn’t go to the rivers. The washing machine was a life saver. The AC’s in each room kept us cool. There was plenty of room inside and outside for everyone to hang out and lounge and not feel crowded. The host was awesome. She provided us plenty of food options in Humacao that we definitely took advantage of. She checked in on us midweek and was very easy to contact. There’s a food truck park called con tenedores which was awesome and only about an 8 minute drive. We also found Crepes by Us with their amazing breakfast/lunch menu. I liked there was a Walgreens and a Walmart Supercenter not even 10 min away for groceries and last minute items. And I like this home was in a flat area, with no hills or deep inclines. If you drive in PR you know there are high windy roads with deep inclines and I was not having it. But this home was very easy to find and drive to with the GPS. We were also literally a 2 min drive from the Humacao Nature Preserve that had kayaking. It was awesome. This was a 10/10 for my family and definitely will be happy to go back.

Amazing Find! Will definitely return and highly recommend.

This property met beyond my expectations. Nancy was wonderful. Always stood in contact with me and available when I had questions. I will definitely be staying here again with my family. It was the perfect getaway. Nancy recommended a delicious kiosko for breakfast and lunch but I can’t remember the name. Make sure to ask. Yes, there's power and wifi! There's Punta Santiago Beach right down the street - 3minutes away. Not for swimming but definitely 📸 worthy :) Must visit Seven Seas Beach -20 minutes or so away. The beach was incredible! Must visit La Parada in Fajardo, the alcapurria was amazing!! Take a drive to Hidden Beach, 30 minutes away, it was beautiful and away from many tourist. There's a walmart about 10 minutes away! The neighbors were super friendly. The pool was a huge bonus for days we decided to stay in and relax. Must try Kayaking at night in San Juan, it was an amazing experience, saw jelly fishes and starfish, and the hosts were pretty awesome! For food try Atabey, the food was amazinnngggggg 😋 El Viejo San Juan - Calle Fortaleza - was beautiful (be prepared to walk ALOT) For food try Puerto Criollo - omgggg 😋 Must go horseback riding in The Caribali in El Yunque Rainforest 😍 Visit Luquillo Beach 40min away ⛱️😍 don't try Kiosko Favorito 😞 Wasted $110 on badddddd breakfast. Experience "Black Sand Beach" in Maunabo about 35 minutes away. The water is rough so I don't suggest you go swimming but it's a beautiful view and experience. It's kind of a mess but who cares once you get down to the water is picture worthy! 📸 Don't forget to visit the lighthouse.

Perfect for our family of 4!

We had a lovely 4 night stay for our first visit to PR. Communication was good with Host and check in/out seamless. We were immediately greeted with nature as there is a pond directly to the side of the house. We saw Night Heron, Bittern, Egrets, Gallinules, Gray Kingbirds, and of course Roosters, Grackles, Doves, and Pigeons. We were also surrounded with the sounds of the Coqui Frog, which took me awhile to figure out that it was in fact a frog and not a bird, lol. Speaking of frogs, some very large ones came out at night so u need to watch your step! And don’t forget the lizards and Iguanas 😊. There were also some cats and dogs that would come around as well. The house had everything we needed and the backyard pool area was beautiful! Unfortunately the pool is not heated, so we did not end up using it much simply because we were out sightseeing during most of the day and it was too cold to go into in the evenings. The waterfall feature seemed to be on a timer, as I had wished it started earlier in the morning and stayed on after dark to enjoy to enjoy the sight and sound. The neighborhood itself is ok. And yes you are in a neighborhood with lots of other houses around, however this one is at the end of the block so u just have a house on one side, then the pond area on the other. The pond is situated in the middle of the community. There is a beach area directly across the street from the community, but it looked pretty run down and uninviting, however you can drive to other nicer ones in the area. The Humacao Nature Preserve is just down the street…is supposed to be a nice area for kayaking. And there are a couple restaurants/watering holes down the opposite direction which I wanted to try but didn’t get a chance to while we were there. We made day trips to Old San Juan, El Yunque National Rainforest and took the Ferry to Vieques. Make reservations for the Rainforest way in advance, we learned the hard way 😞. The Ferry and any paid tour/excursions as well. Things sell out quickly. Thank you for your hospitality! I’d definitely come stay again 👍🏼☺️
