--OUTSIDE--
The locals have called the Fawn River cabin "the best kept secret in Ellijay!" There is good reason: the privacy and location are divine, yet only 10 minutes to downtown Ellijay's award-winning shops and eateries. But the winning view is the secret here - this is one of the widest sections of the Coosawattee (over 200 feet wide!), and the river is so crystal clear you can spot trout from the deck.

Unplug and unwind on the deck with a glass of wine or cup of coffee, enjoy the view and ever-present sound of rushing water. A few things you’ll love about the outdoor living space:
- Smokeless fire pit (Solo Stove)
- Wildlife viewing. Spot deer, blue heron, hawks, fish, or (on rare occasions) a bear!
- Cornhole
- Comfortable outdoor seating and dining areas, including gas grill
- Safety gate

PRIVATE RIVER ACCESS
Open the gate and walk down the steps for riverside fun. Lounge and fish from the soft grassy area or tube from your own backyard!

PARKING
Your cabin is off a short and easy-to-drive gravel road with a large level driveway that can accommodate 6 cars.


--INSIDE--
This cozy cabin will be your home away from home no matter what you’re looking for. One of the first things you notice when walking in is that you can remain immersed in nature within the walls of the home. You can watch the water from every room or even open windows and doors to bring the sound of rushing water into the space. This is a very private location where green trees and blue water are the main thing you see from each window.

--RESORT--
You’ll be staying at Coosawattee River Resort, a gated 5,500+ acre mountain and river community. The resort features several amenities including: three pools (including heated indoor pool & kiddie pool), game room, weight & exercise room, 18-hole mini golf, multiple playgrounds and riverside parks, fenced dog park, stocked fishing pond, tennis court, pickleball, basketball hoops, and rentable event space. To gain access to the amenities, guests must pick up an amenities card from the resort (limit: 8 guests).

You will enjoy the peace of mind of being in a gated community while being only a convenient 1-mile drive to the Ellington gate.

Your cabin is nestled in a private riverside location while still only 10 minutes to downtown Ellijay - a small town with big adventures. Ellijay is the Apple Capital and Mountain Bike Capital of Georgia, and within a prominent section of wine country that features eight wineries. Downtown Ellijay provides everything you desire in a quaint mountain town including delicious restaurants and taverns with live music, fantastic shopping, and memorable festivals year-round. Several outdoor adventure options are within reach including hiking, horseback riding, tubing, white-water rafting, boating, ziplining, biking, fishing, go-karting, and golfing.

Guest access
Guests can access both levels of the home and the entirety of the outdoor space. There is a set of stairs that go down to the river and private river access which our guests are welcome to use.
