Funston Suite is a unique space that was designed with guests in mind. Brand new construction with a modern flair, this vacation rental offers amazing views of Red Mountain and is minutes from downtown Glenwood Springs. Easily access both of the Hot Springs Pools, Adventure Park, River Rafting and much more!!

This vacation rental was newly constructed and furnished in August 2022. It is super clean, modern and offers beautiful views.

Guests will be close to downtown, restaurants, shopping , skiing, hiking, biking and any other outdoor activities that would attract visitors to Glenwood Springs.

Great Room:

The home is on the upper level (garage under)and has an open floor plan.

The living room offers 2 comfy couches, side chair and Smart flat screen TV, Samsung TV provided.

The pull out sofa is top of line, made by American Leather, which is know for providing the most ultimate comfort for sleeper sofas.

Guests can access their PERSONAL Netflix, Amazon and other providers as they wish. The entertainment also includes a nice sound bar.

Games, books, toys, puzzles and cards are included to make family time extra fun.

The Kitchen:

The Funston kitchen is a true chefs kitchen. It is modern with unique tile and stone counter tops, brand new stainless appliances and top of the line cabinets. We have provided all the utensils anyone would need for a home away from home.


The Master:

The Master bedroom provides a organic mattress and pillows for ultimate comfort and a 45 inch flat screen Smart TV

This bedroom has a en suite bathroom with contemporary tile and European shower doors.

Guest Bedroom:

The guest bedroom provides a organic mattress and pillows for ultimate comfort and a 45 inch flat screen Smart TV .

This bedroom would share the full bath with the commons of the kitchen and living area.

The property has a new stackable washer and dryer, beach towels and other laundry items that are needed.

Outside:

Enjoy a nice meal and all the views of Glenwood Springs from our amazing deck! We can accommodate seating for 6 and offer a plumbed gas BBQ grill.

We enjoyed our stay. We’d recommend better coffee maker as we’d had to clean out coffee grounds before it would work for us. A pizza pan would have been great as kids love homemade pizza. A laundry basket would be a great recommendation to add. Cleaning supplies and disinfectant wipes or spray would also have been great as kids had stomach bug.Your place is in a great location and if we ever come back to CO we’d stay here again. Great visit

Husband and I came to Colorado to visit, son who has been doing van life for a year. The house was just want we needed. A place close to town, easy to get to. Andrea was very friendly and helpful. The place was stocked with many things we needed. The only issue was traffic noice but that plainly stated on website. We enjoyed town and hot springs. We will return.

Annual raft trip

This property was perfect for our annual raft trip. It was set up perfect with two completely separate sleeping areas with two full bathrooms. The great room and open kitchen area was large enough and comfortable for all after a day on the river. The games and puzzles were a nice touch! Enjoyed the view from the balcony while having dinner outside.

Perfect weekend

We stayed 3 nights to enjoy the hot springs and the adventure park and this apartment couldn’t have been any more perfect. The unit was very well appointed and the AC worked extremely well even with the outside temps in the 90s! It is close to the freeway so if you need complete silence to sleep, this may not be for you. We always sleep with white noise apps so it didn’t bother us at all. Would definitely stay again if we plan another trip to Glenwood Springs!

Great place for a weekend away!

My partner and I stayed for a long weekend away. We enjoyed cooking and relaxing at the suite! It is so close to downtown Glenwood springs and stores and has panoramic views of the mountains. It was fully stocked with everything we needed from all the kitchen tools to plenty of linens. The bed was comfy and the smart thermostat made it the perfect temperature. It is an upstairs suite and you could hear some noise from route 6, but that didn't matter to us. Thank you for a quiet, peaceful weekend!

The master fitted sheet was not washed…I had to sleep on top of the flat sheet. It would have been nice to have a couple more dish towels. We had one so we used a bath hand towel for dish drying. The space was nice but darker blinds in living are may be better for glare on tv. Thank you!

Locked out

The good: The condo is brand new; tastefully decorated with modern appliances, spotlessly clean with spacious living room/kitchen combination with an open plan. The kitchen is very well equipped, every possible cooking gadget is there. Separate climate control in every room. The bad: When we reached the condo after travelling for 12 + hours we could not open the door - the code did not work, no matter what we tried. We texted and called the host (Andrea) several times (by then it was about 10 pm MT), but there was no answer. We called VRBO, who also tried calling the host - unsuccessfully. We were on the phone with VRBO for a while discussing available options - such as getting other rentals or a hotel in the area, but eventually they were able to reach the host - who said she was asleep. The host explained that we tried the wrong door; it turned out that the lock was on the upper level of the condo (not visible in the dark). Adding this information - and/or leaving a sign would have saved a lot of time and trouble. By the time we got into the condo it was about 11:30 pm (1:30 am Eastern). We were so cold and tired; we lost the first day of skiing. The host apologized but said the "she had a lot of rental properties", not a very satisfying response. There was a lot of traffic next to the condo - it is close to two highways, but to be fair after a couple of days we got used to it and could sleep through the night without any problems. Room for improvement: A drying rack would have been handy (for skiers). There was no dresser in any of the bedrooms, so there was no room to keep all the layered stuff we needed for skiing and underwear; had to keep all the stuff in a large bag. Even one small dresser in any of the bedroom (better in both) would have made a big difference.

I wanted to follow up with you on your suggestions. - A sign has been put on the door that is immediately next to the “external” staircase to help direct guests to the upper level and I updated the arrival instructions with more details. - A dresser has been added in each bedroom so there is another option besides the closet hangers, shelving, and luggage racks we already provide. - The property photos have been updated to reflect those additions. Our guest’s satisfaction is very important to us, and we strive to make sure our guests are taken care of. When I missed your call, I immediately tried to call you back and your phone went directly to voicemail, assuming that is when you were calling VRBO customer service. Within minutes, VRBO called me and connected us. We spoke at that time to help you gain access. I do not appreciate the exaggeration on the timeline in your review when it only took minutes to get you to the correct door instead of an hour and a half that you stated. Thank you again for your review and suggestions. Your feedback is important to us so we can make sure our guests have the best experience possible.
