The Neighborhood:
The building is located in the middle of local neighborhoods, very close to the beach and the heart of Playa del Carmen, but still away form the noise and crowds. Playa is growing this way but will still be a while to become as busy as the city center. You can enjoy the small shoppes around the neighborhood.

El edificio está ubicado en medio de barrios locales, muy cerca de la playa y del corazón de Playa del Carmen, pero aún alejado del ruido y las multitudes. Playa está creciendo de esta manera, pero aún tardará un tiempo en estar tan concurrida como el centro de la ciudad. Puede disfrutar de las pequeñas tiendas del barrio.

Getting Around:
If you rent a car, you will have an assigned parking spot in the building, and if you want a taxi, you can get one just one block away on 10th Avenue, and they are not expensive at all!

Other Things to Note:
The neighborhood is very local and you will see a lot of activity from kids going to school in the morning, to people riding in bicycles, etc. You have all kinds of small, local shops and services around such as laundry, ice cream parlor, fruits and vegetables, bike rental places, restaurants, convenience stores. Taxis are easy to find just a block away and are not expensive.

Our policy regarding the use of electricity is an allowance of 15 kilowatts for 1 bedroom and Studio units and 20 kilowatts for 2 bedroom units per day which is enough for a comfortable stay. We will charge 3 pesos per additional kilowatt. We ask you to please help us save energy, as electricity is very expensive in Playa del Carmen, and turn off the air conditioner units and light off when you are not in the unit and remember that usage goes up when you use several appliances at the same time. In most cases there will be no extra charge and in a few the charge is very low, around $3 USD. Also, do not set the a/c units any lower than 23 degrees Celcius or 73 degrees Farenheit because low settings increase consumption.

El vecindario es muy local y verás mucha actividad, desde niños que van a la escuela por la mañana, gente en bicicleta, etc. Tienes todo tipo de pequeñas tiendas y servicios locales como lavandería, heladería, frutas y verduras, alquiler de bicicletas, restaurantes, tiendas de conveniencia. Los taxis son fáciles de encontrar a solo una cuadra de distancia y no son costosos.

Nuestra política en cuanto al uso de la electricidad es permitimos 15 kilovatios en unidades de 1 recamara y estudios, y 20 kilovatios en unidades de 2 recamaras de consumo diario, lo cual es más que suficiente para tener una estadía muy cómoda. Estaremos cobrando 3 pesos por cada kilovatio adicional. Les pedimos que por favor nos ayuden a ahorrar en energía, ya que la electricidad es muy cara en Playa del Carmen, y apaguen las luces y las unidades mientras no estén en el apartamento, y recuerden que el consumo sube cuando se utilizan varios electrodomesticos al mismo tiempo. En la mayoria de los casos no hay cargo y en algunas unidades el cargo es minimo, como $3 USD en promedio. También no ajusten la temperatura en los aires mas bajo de 23 grados centigrados o 73 grados Farenheit pues esto causa consumo adicional.
