For future reference (or for others reading this review) the Market at the gas station in the resort sells bundles of firewood for a very reasonable price, but agree it may be easier to grab at a grocery store when you stop to get other food you bring with you, especially if you plan to arrive late after the market has closed.

Regarding the driveway, we understand its unique challenges. While the downward slope of the driveway is not something we can change, we understand that having advance notice of this can be helpful for guests for whom this would present an issue. We will update our listing to better inform future guests what to expect. We deeply regret any inconvenience caused by the mouse issues. Our team has completed a thorough cleaning and inspection and is implementing immediate and ongoing measures to address and prevent these concerns in the future. We will also reinforce our cleaning procedures and policies to ensure all kitchenware is thoroughly inspected and cleaned before each guest's arrival and that all perishable items are removed between guest stays. Regarding the hot tub, we apologize for any disappointment with the conditions and regret any frustration caused by the number of towels. Our maintenance staff checks the levels and shocks the hot tub before and after each guest’s stay. We also leave the shock in an accessible place for guests who are staying multiple days who would like to shock the tub after each use, which is best practice. Our maintenance team will conduct a thorough cleaning to ensure it meets the highest standards of cleanliness for our guests and will review and adjust our inventory of towels if necessary to ensure an ample supply for all guests, especially those utilizing the hot tub.
