Location!

Great spot! Highly recommend and plan a return visit next year. Accommodations were fantastic. Kids loved having the beach right outside our door and our host Frank was awesome.

New Year's Eve Friends Reunion

Had a phenomenal time at steps from the sand. Located in a great part of mission beach with everything within walking distance. Being on the bay side meant a quieter stay. Tons of room with everything we could need at the property. We all definitely want to come back again in the future.

Literally steps from the sand makes this place ideal.

Our hosts were very attentive to my questions prior to our trip. Frank responded to every text or email within an hour. This is an older home that is well maintained and a bit quirky. The location makes this the best place to spend a vacation. Bottom floor… patio slider to the water is approximately 30 steps. The evenings are absolutely amazing. The best description of our stay is “peaceful.”

The home was good, but...

The home was nice. The location was awesome. It was clean...with the exception of spiders and webs hanging from the corners and ceilings on the top 2 bunk beds. Beds were comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this home. I like how close we were to the beach. Coffee shops and pizza parlor were just steps away. One of my disappointments was that the laundry machine needed $2.00 in quarters. It was not as easy as expected to go around town asking for change. (If I knew, I would have brought my own quarters.) Also, most pots and pans were scratched up pretty badly. Not very useable. If you mainly go out to eat, then not a problem. Overall, I would say that location was great...home was acceptable.

A week on Mission Bay

A very enjoyable week for our family (grandparents, son-in-law, daughter and two grandchildren. A wonderful location on mission beach, near restaurants and two blocks from the ocean. Plenty of room for our family, property is well maintained for a beach house, plenty of windows for cross ventilation and fans, washer is coin operated $2.00 a load , dryer is not. Would definitely rent again.

AMAZING Getaway!!

This is a great property with the BEST amenities. Not only do you enjoy the sunrise, but you can enjoy the Sea World fireworks each night as well as watching the sailboats, row boats and dinner cruise boats. If that's not your cup of tea, this house is a hop skip and jump from the ocean side. Watch the sun set and walk back to the house via many restaurants & shops. Rent a bike or surf board just up the street and take in the sites. The house was very comfortable for the 7 of us that stayed. Beds were comfortable as well. This is a true gem and so far, my favorite place that we've rented.

Beautiful location

The location is perfect. Steps from the sand on the bay and an easy walk to the ocean. The house fit our family of 9 comfortably and is equipped nicely with most things you will need to enjoy the beach.

Excellent Family Location with Children

This was our 2nd year in a row to have this property and this year we were able to take both the main level unit with direct access to the beach as well as the upper 2-bedroom unit. Perfect quiet location on the bay away from the congested ocean area with great access to the bay for swimming, paddleboards, biking, volleyball, cornhole and relaxing. Taking both units allowed for ample parking and a great location for a party of 7 adults and 6 children ages 2-18 of which there is a very limited supply of properties to accommodate a party of this size. Booked for same week in 2019 unless the City Council makes a big mistake by banning short term rentals.

Perfect accommodations!

Our extended family of 12 just returned from a week at this home on the bay. Frank was so welcoming and accommodating, and the home was beautifully decorated. The location is perfect... Right on the bay and only one street away from the ocean. A lot of extra amenities were included: boogie boards, shade cover to set up on beach, beach toys, etc. We highly recommend this property!!!

My husband and I both live in beautiful San Diego and know what a wonderful place it is to vacation. Our Mission beach location is a perfect location for so many. With so many activities for both the adult and the children. Our place is walking distance to almost all rental, amusement park, shopping and dining. Our units are very cozy and right on the bay side just a few feet from the sand and just a few blocks away from the surf on the Ocean side, making it the best of both worlds. We look forward to having you stay and will do all we can to make your stay enjoyable. Ask about our upstairs 2 bedroom/2 bath unit that sleeps six .
