❶ Clingmans Dome - About a 45-minute drive from the cabin, this is the park's highest point with a steep but short 0.5-mile paved trail leading to an observation tower that offers stunning 360-degree views.

❷ Grotto Falls Trail - Around 20 minutes by car, this 3-mile round trip hike is easy to moderate, leading through an old-growth forest to a unique waterfall you can walk behind, though the trail can be slippery.

❸ Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail - Just a 10-minute drive, this scenic route offers a less strenuous way to experience the park, with access to various trails and historic sites along the drive.

❹ Rainbow Falls Trail - A 15-minute drive to the trailhead, this 5.4-mile round trip hike is moderately challenging and leads to the park's tallest single-drop waterfall, with elevation gains and rocky pat
