Whispering Canyon is THE ideal cabin where you will enjoy the best of the Smokies; a relaxing log cabin experience nestled in the trees right in the heart of Gatlinburg. The cabin is a very short 3 minute drive to The Parkway in Gatlinburg, 3 minutes to Ober Gatlinburg for year round outdoor play, 4 minutes to the National Park entrance and only 10-15 min to Pigeon Forge, with no scary roads and easy access to the many, many local attractions. It's also privately tucked into the canyon with no nearby neighbors, giving you that traditional cabin in the woods vacation.

Please note:
Whispering Canyon has a winding, moderately steep driveway with level parking at the top for up to 4 cars. Driveway conditions can be slippery or icy. All wheel or 4-wheel drive is recommended in icy and snowy weather.

Whispering Canyon, located off Ski Mountain Rd in Gatlinburg, is a beautiful and comfortable cabin perfect for gatherings of friends and family. Everyone will find space to spread out, relax and rejuvenate. All 3 large bedrooms have access to one of 3 full length decks. All 3 decks come with multiple rocking chairs and lounge seating to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or your evening glass of wine (or 'shine). The pool table and arcade games are ready for friendly competition. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare any meal. Roku enabled Smart TVs allow you to access your own streaming subscriptions from 6 different rooms throughout the cabin. When you are ready, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and all local attractions are just a few minutes away. And you can't get much closer to the main entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Staying at Whispering Canyon will allow you to bypass the majority of traffic going into the park.
Bears do visit the cabin on a regular basis. There is an active bear trail from our driveway! Please supervise children outside, keep car doors locked and cabin doors shut at all times. Do not leave food in your car or outside. All trash must be placed in the bear bins.

Main Level - Walking in the front door, you will enter the great room with fully equipped kitchen, dining room with seating for 10, living room, King bedroom and full bathroom with jetted tub and separate shower. Access the full length deck with gas BBQ and patio table from the living room and the bedroom.

Upper Level - Walk upstairs and you will find the second King bedroom with full bathroom. Cross the catwalk to the loft with comfortable seating, Smart TV, board game table and Queen sleeper sofa. This is a perfect quiet spot for reading, playing a game, or getting some work done. The full length deck can be accessed by both the loft and the bedroom.

Lower Level - Travel downstairs to find another whole floor. Here you will find a large multi-use recreation room with sectional sofa in front of a 65 inch Smart TV, a pool table,2 arcade games, and pub table w/ stools. The 3rd bedroom is next to the rec room, with a set of twin over full bunk beds, another full / full bunkbed and an attached full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Access to the deck with hot tub is found in the bedroom and rec room. A half bath and laundry room with stacked washer and dryer are downstairs as well.

Whispering Canyon has good cell strength and free strong wi-fi. All TVs are streaming capable, allowing you to log in to all your favorite streaming apps.

For your convenience, we provide a small supply of coffee pods, paper towels, toilet paper, sponge and dish soap, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, and laundry soap.
