Discover the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and enjoy a luxurious mountain retreat at Golden Eagle! Nestled in the heart of Canmore, this 2000 sq feet condo will provide you with spectacular views, luxurious comfort, and the privacy you need for an unforgettable vacation. Equipped with a full kitchen, fire place, PikTV, Disney+ and Crave access, gas BBQ, king-size beds, and 3 glass showers, you will feel completely pampered. As a bonus, we provide a Discovery Pass during your stay that gives you access to all national parks, including Banff National Park, as well as access to some places within the park that usually require an admission fee. And if you’re travelling with your furry friend, we even welcome them here. So make the most out of your trip and stay with us at Golden Eagle!

Start you day with espresso coffee while enjoying the mountain view. The chef will be seduced by the large kitchen, equipped with everything you need to cook, including spices. You’re a grill master? Perfect! The gas bbq on the balcony is just a few steps away. Everyone will have a place on the large wooden table in the dining area. When it gets cold outside, get cozy in the living room in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine. Even the rainy day will be fun with PikTv, Disney+ and Crave access in the living room. For those who likes to travel light, you will appreciate in suite large capacity washer and dryer. After a long day hiking or skiing, enjoy the shared hot tub.
Either you’re travelling with the family or friends, everybody will sleep in a comfortable bed, either one of the king or queen size bed in each bedroom. We also provide locally made shower products from Rocky Mountain Soap Company in all three glass showers. The master ensuite bathroom also has a soaking tub. The second bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower. The third bedroom has 2 queen size bed and close access to the common bathroom. All bedrooms provide spectacular mountain view. Your car will be safe in the underground parking lot. There is 2 assigned parking stalls. As a bonus, we provide a Discovery Pass during your stay. This pass gives you access to all national parks, including Banff National Park, as well as access to some places within the park that usually require an admission fee. We do everything possible so you have the vacation you’ve been dreaming of.

Dogs are welcome! There is a fee of $70/dog per stay. Maximum 2 dogs.

Where is the property?
This property is in Tamarack building in Spring Creek neighborhood , one of the newest in Canmore. Canmore is at the doorstep of Banff National Park. It is a 15 minutes drive to the town of Banff.

How far is it from downtown?
The condo is a 5 minutes walk to Main Street. It is a very pleasant walk on a multi use path (bike and walker).

What are good places to eat around?
We offer a restaurant guide for our visitors, filled with our favorite places in Canmore and Banff.

What can you do in this area?
Lots! Plenty of activities for all kind of people. Sightseeing (a lot of it!!), hiking, biking, paddling, skiing, climbing, fishing, scrambling, skating, mountaineering, shopping... One trip won’t get you through all of it!

Who are we?
My name is Rob, and my wife is Martine. I came to the Rockies for a summer camp in 2000 and 2001. I immediately fell in love with the area. I took my wife on a road trip in 2004 and she had the same reaction. It took us 10 years to finally leave the province of Quebec and cross the country with our 3 young children to start a new life in Canmore. Since 2014, we call it home. We love to explore those mountains by foot. We’ve scrambled a few of them and are always looking for new peaks to explore. We now have a furry friend that follow us everywhere, Bernie. You can see him on some pictures. We’ve been sharing our passion for the mountain with our guest since 2015. It’s been an incredible journey that brought us to meet some amazing people.

The condo was impeccable and well appointed with everything you will need. The views from the balcony were perfect for our morning coffee and evening happy hours. Great location in the Spring Creek development in Canmore. Communication with the owner before and during the stay was excellent. Detailed directions to find and access the property were provided. Nice walking paths nearby and easy access to shops and restaurants. Small market, pharmacy, and restaurant in the building which are accessible by stairs or elevator. Parking underground. Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 8:00 am in that area of town.

Wonderful Stay We Would Love To Stay Here Again

It was a perfect condo, as well as area, for our family and how we like to travel. Family Birthday Celebrations!

Our stay here was lovely! Spacious, clean, comfy. Extras too! We were six adults, two kids…all enjoyed, even Vinny had a good time (Boston Terrier whose birthday we also celebrated) Bridgette Bar was right below, perfect. Perfect celebration!

Canmore Condo

The condo was beautiful, very clean, comfortable and well stocked and also welcomes dogs. The building is quiet and located near many trails and amenities. Two underground parking spots was a nice feature. Robert was very welcoming and excellent to communicate with. It's a great place for large families or multiple adults/couples who are visiting the Banff area.

Excellent stay

The place is a gorgeous condo, very clean, spacious for a family of 5, could accommodate easily to 8. It is in a very good location, beautiful scenery. There is gym, hot pool, washer/dryer, fire place, grill, all are functional well. Host is reachable, and easy to check in. Parking is easy. I would stay here again next time.

Huge condo

Spring creek is a beautiful community. The walking trails are very nice and an easy walk to Main Street. There is restaurant in the building that is excellent. There is a pharmacy, a little grocery store and a little pub within steps of the tamarack building. The condo is well equipped and spacious. We loved our stay.

We have enjoyed Canmore every winter for many years. I sincerely thought the construction in this area would eventually wane. It’s just as bad as the first time we came. It’s especially upsetting in such a beautiful setting. Perfect family ice skating, daily ruined by LOUD construction. Every morning wakened by building construction. Maddening honestly. The home itself is great space, comfortable furniture and functional amenities. It’s a bit cold (not temperature but ambience), sparsely decorated, minimal comforts (for instance a SINGLE floor mat in the large master bath) and frugal and poorly functioning toiletries (hanging shower bottles don’t work, minimal TP offered, small, scratchy towlels). We love Canmore for the local vibe but this may be the last time we can suffer through the construction. A few luxuries in the home would go a long way to improving comfort in the space.

Family Weekend

We stayed for the weekend with three families (four couples and three young kids). Most of us ran in Melissa’s Road race and the condo was the perfect home base. Canmore is a great town to wander (not as busy as Banff) and the condo is a very short walk to the Main Street with great shops and restaurants. The condo itself was excellent! Three large bedrooms and three bathrooms (two ensuite). The kitchen was perfect for preparing family meals and had all the supplies we needed (although, we couldn’t find a potato masher so we bought one and donated it to the supplies). There were even spices and oil available! The balcony has a great view of the mountains and we enjoyed using the bbq. We will stay here again for sure!

Family celebration

This condo was perfect for our 4 generation family reunion. Enough room for all of us to enjoy time together and also plenty of privacy when needed. Our condo had beautiful views of the fantastic scenery and the location near Banff NP was terrific. Canmore review

The condo had great amenities with a nice view of the mountains. A note- they are building new condos next door so construction is occurring M-Thursday. Several trains pass near by in the night. We had a housekeeping glitch initially but the host took care of it right away. The condo was a nice base for us to explore Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise.

Great place, truly enjoyed our stay

When we arrived (4:00 check in, not a minute earlier :-) ), everything was clean and ready for us. Included all the supplies we needed, access to the hot tub and use of the washer/dryer. Included park pass. Loved our trip to the area and this property was a big part of that. Highly recommend!

Outstanding accommodation and location!

We loved staying at Golden Eagles Nest! It is a beautiful apartment in a perfect location. Very well equipped and tastefully furnished. Robert was great at answering any questions / requests. Beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony, walking distance to town and great restaurant in the same building. Canmore is a lovely town and definitely preferable to Banff. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy the hiking or skiing in the area. Fantastic place to holiday!
