A Mountain Cabin BEST suited for a Young couple and up to 4 people who are outdoor enthusiasts looking to experience the great oudoors and spend there time outside to breathe fresh mountain air and explore, build a fire in the Fire Pit and listen to the crickets at night over the dark sky filled with stars, take an outdoor shower then relax in the 4 person outdoor Sundance Hottub, BBQ on the weber propane grill, swim in the local Sandburg Creek water hole, Play Volleyball or Badmington and yet for tech savy people that can navigate modern entertainment systems with bloothtooth and playlist ability, surround sound with a smart HDTV and all the APPS for movies, etc. ****The steps going upstairs to the bedrooms are a little steep and the outside terrain can be uneven so this place is not recommended for the elderly or people with limited mobility and balance. The cabin has a modern touch of technology with Air conditioning and Fans! 4KHDTV with built in APPS such as Netflix, HULU, Amazon Prime, Spotify, etc.. Onkyo surround sound system with Klipsch speakers and Blooth tooth ability from your phone to play your playlist. 200 MPS spectrum internet. The TV upstairs is old school and not smart but can play the Huge selection of DVDs available and VHS from back in the day ! and it is not useless as some have said. along with a Onkyo stereo which can play cassette tapes and CD's. Check out the multiple board games such as Monopoly, Cranium, Trivial persuit, Checkers, Uno , Master Mind and more.
Less then 2 hours from NYC you can be transported to the wilderness with wild Turkey, Blach Bear, Night Owls and all the wildlife the catskills has to offer. Power can go out during severe storms or NorthEast Hurricanes which have been occuring more often in the north east and have consequeneces. If power goes out it is usually not more than an hour or two. There is absolutely nothing I can do. Light the multiple candles and a lantern is supplied. The power will eventually go back on. If you have Electrophobia and cannot be without power at all this is not the place for you. This is a cabin in the catskill mountains and it is all about the weather that can affect electrical supply. But the beauty is in the fresh air, water, and wildlife. Hot water is limited because there is a hot water tank so if multiple people take showers at the same time you will have to wait for the tank to heat up again. The water from the Faucet is fresh natural well water 180 feet below the ground filtered by Mother Nature. The best Free spring water you can drink!!!! Makes your hair and skin soft and chemical free.
