Our group of 6 greatly enjoyed staying in this wonderfully renovated house. We spent the evening in the backyard sitting around the fire pit and the mornings on the front porch enjoying our coffee. Location was great for local restaurants and we felt very safe in the neighborhood

Great Stay on the Bourbon Trail

We stayed here as a good central point to take in Louisville and the Bourbon Trail, and the place was a great stay! We had plenty of space for everyone in the house, it was very close to downtown Louisville, and the house was close to everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We had an awesome family vacation in Louisville. We were able to easily get to all the sites and this space gave us a perfect home base. Four bedrooms and 2.5 baths made it very comfortable for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids. This house is walking distance to some very nice coffee/bakery shops, restaurants, breweries and more. And short drive to downtown. We loved our time together and would stay here again!

Great Stay

Our family enjoyed the property as we were in town tonight see and visit with family. The house provided a good home base for activities. The location was quiet but still close enough to walk to a bagel place for breakfast or dinner. The garage in back was great for off street parking. Our family enjoyed our stay and would visit here again.

This cute house is in an older neighborhood that is in a great location for a quick access/drive to just about anything we did in Louisville. It has 3 king beds, 1 queen, and a twin. Unfortunately, the house was HOT!! If you are staying during the summer, bring your own fan(s) to circulate air in the rooms you will be using. Additionally was not able to use the grill since the inside was completely rusted out. Host/company was non-responsive when we reached out about the heat and was unable to address grill issue during our stay.

The property location was great. The neighborhood was quiet and there was a good, safe, green space in the backyard. There were a couple issues that needed to be addressed and the owner was responsive in helping us. The grill needs to be replaced before others plan to use it. The basement was a bonus surprise with a ping pong table and shuffle board.

Family Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property is very clean, the bedroom layout of bedroom/bath and half bath on the main floor with the remaining bedrooms and bath upstairs worked well for our group of my husband and me, our college aged children and my parents. The neighborhood was easy to navigate and close to activities we planned. We appreciated the nice quantity of toiletries, paper products and towels the host provides. The street parking was always available, easy and safe to use. We appreciated our stay and would stay again. Thank you!

Great home base for a visit to Louisville

The house was perfect for 5 friends visiting Louisville! The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and just a great space. Neighborhood had many restaurants and bars within walking distance, and Whiskey Row was a quick and easy Uber ride away. I would stay here again!

Great for 8 friends

8 lady friends came from Nebraska to watch the NCAA volleyball final 4, and to see some of the area attractions. Went to Louisville Slugger museum, Churchill downs, The Ark and Creation museum. Location was great to access downtown area. House was great, bathroom door upstairs and bedroom door could use some adjustments to open and close easier. Really appreciated the holiday decorations (christmas tree etc) to add to the hominess. And some of the other amenities, such as use of garage, coffee, sugar, creamer etc. towels were wonderful, not quite enough wash cloths, but some of brought our own because of previous experiences at different properties. Thank you for a great stay!!

Weekend in Louisville

Clean and just as advertised home. Well renovated older home with a wonderful outdoor space. We would definitely stay here again. We were here on a hot (90 degree) weekend and the AC units kept the home cool we were perfectly comfortable. New appliances. Garage. …and everyone agreed the beds and pillows were very comfortable!

Comfortable Stay

Payne Street Paddock was very comfortable for the five of us. The house was very clean with comfortable beds and furniture. It is equipped with everything you will need to settle in as if you were at home. It is well-located in a quiet neighborhood but close everywhere. The communication with James was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

Would definitely rent again

This lovely 100 year old home was beautifully restored, the host was super responsive, the house was clean, they provided snacks too and extra necessities (soap, laundry, TP, shampoo etc). The house temperature is regulated with wall units up stairs, so that was nice to be able to set your own temperature. The floors downstairs do not have a sub floor beneath them, it does make the floor in the master sitting area quite cold as it hangs out over yard, but the host does let you set the temperature in the house, so we were very comfortable. I am not sure what the effect would be in the summer months, but that wouldn't deter us from renting again. The location is super close to downtown, only 8 minutes away, so was convenient to downtown. We would definitely rent again.

Great place, great host, great experience!

The host was easy to communicate with, and the house was exactly as listed. Perfect for the four of us traveling to have our own bedroom and space to unwind. The back yard was awesome for evening gatherings, and the location of the house made it easy to get downtown as well as to and from the airport!

The Healing Place was founded in 1989 as a homeless shelter and medical clinic for men (& currently women as well).
Every day they provide food, clothing, and shelter at no cost to more than 600 clients seeking help for their addictions.
