Amazing location! Old North Boulder is a walk and bike-friendly neighborhood, and getting around without a car is very easy. With equal proximity to NoBo, hiking trails in the foothills, downtown, and Rt. 36, this could be Boulder’s most convenient neighborhood. It consists almost entirely of single-family homes built between 1950 and 1970, with the Ideal Market complex anchoring its southwest corner, downtown Pearl Street just a half dozen blocks south, and the convenience corridor of Folsom Street to the west and just a few blocks from all the amenities of 36th Street. You’re never more than about five blocks from an RTD bus in Old North Boulder. Several streets have excellent bike lanes, and the Goose Creek Path connects the neighborhood from Edgewood to the commercial meccas to the east, including the Valmont Bike Park. The community gardens and North Boulder Rec center are great resources and create a significant section of the bike path.
