Welcome to our charming beach cottage just a 2-minute walk from the beach! Our cozy duplex features a covered front porch perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or a relaxing evening. The single-story layout includes 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, ideal for families or small groups. Spend your days sunbathing, surfing, flying kites, or paddleboarding - all just steps away from your front door. Come experience the ultimate beach getaway!
The Space
The Blue Pearl, our family-owned 1970 beach cottage, enjoyed by several generations! Our home is on a large corner lot of a charming beach neighborhood and just a short walk to the beach. Recently renovated front section of the duplex approximately 850 square feet, which includes 2 Queen beds and 1 King bed - all with fresh linens and wall mounted TVs with Roku- and one full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances you'll need, and the open floor plan connects the kitchen and living room. Enjoy meals together at the 6 person kitchen table, and unwind in the living room with the 55" Roku TV (don't forget to bring your own login information!). The front covered porch features a swing and two Adirondack chairs perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze. Outside, you'll find a gas grill for your use. The house features a keyless entry on the side door for your convenience. The code is changed personally for each guest, then deleted after your stay.
Guest access
This house is a duplex and the back unit is only used by the owners when we are down there, which is not all the time. Guests will have access to the entire front of house and private driveway. There is no shared entries and guests will have complete privacy. Guest will have private parking with a three car maximum. There is a chance you may potentially hear or see us despite our efforts to be quiet and respectful. If you think this could impact your experience, please consider another property. We try our best to give you full privacy. We will be available for the entire length of your stay, you can email, VRBO instant message or text us at any point and we will respond right away with any questions you might have.
The Neighborhood
Our neighborhood is located near many local favorites! At MP 5.5 - Dunkin Donuts, Henryâs, Two Roads Tavern, Momâs Sweet Shop, Ashleyâs Espresso Bar, Putt Putt, Arcade, Go karts, and many more are within driving distance or a short distance walk.
Guests are expected to follow the rules, and can be removed from property if they cause issues.
*PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE BOOKING*
**Failure to respect our rules could mean termination of stay with no refund.**
Please treat the home as yours and leave it the same way you found it. Be respectful of the property and neighbors at all times.
*Minimum age to book: 25 years
*Registered guests only
*No parties or events allowed
*No smoking/smokers
*No Pets of any kind. There will be a $500 infraction fee.
*Report all damages, breakages, and/or items not working in a timely manner so they can be fixed.
*Do not drive on the grass.
*Do not open windows while running the AC.
* Turn off all lights, make sure all windows are closed and the door is locked when leaving the house. The weather can change in an instant, please DO NOT LEAVE WINDOWS OPEN when leaving the house.
*Please rinse all sandy feet and other items with hose located on the side of house before entering indoors.
* Please do not fry foods or cook seafood (including boils) in the house. The smell lingers and does not provide a pleasant welcome to our next guests.
*Please do not sit on inside furniture with wet or sandy swimsuits or towels. This could damage the furniture.
*We ask that all of our guests clean-up after themselves, take out the trash, clean and put dishes away and leave linens on the beds.
* Do not flush anything other than toilet paper down our toilets! The house is on septic system not sewage, flushing anything other than toilet paper can cause major damage.
* There is a town noise ordinance after 10pm, please no loud music or outdoor activities beyond then.
* TRASH:
Trash pick up is on Monday morning and Thursday morning. For this reason, the can may be full or semi-full upon check in. Please pull the black trash can to the edge of street beside driveway on designated evenings [SUNDAY & WEDNESDAY EVENING] for early morning trash pickup the following day. Please pull cans back beside house after pick up. Do not leave by edge of driveway.
