Amazing Views is Lake City's "Premiere" Vacation Rental! From its perfect location, to the absolutely amazing views and the lake cottage feel, you will love this home! Enjoy Adirondack chairs under the pergola in the summer and cuddle up by the rustic, red brick gas fireplace in the winter. A perfect home for every season. Just a block away from Ohuta Beach and the Marina.

This home is unique and special in so many ways. It is located just 65 miles southeast of the Twin Cities and 35 miles northeast of Rochester, MN (home to the Mayo Clinic). Lake City is a lovely 'seaside-like' town on Minnesota's South Shore of Lake Pepin.

Its cozy, New England Coastal style is sure to please the most discerning guests. It's a spacious 4 bedroom home that comfortably accommodates 2 to 10 people. The home has been completely remodeled with all new ceilings, floors, walls, windows, doors, mechanicals, bathrooms and a modern kitchen (stainless steel appliances and solid granite counter tops).

The spacious living room, dining room (with custom made farm house table) and kitchen are all open which creates a wonderful "Great Room" space for entertaining family & friends. Each room throughout the house has a wonderful view of the Lake. There is a 42" smart TV that sits on the mantle of a two sided red brick fireplace. The living room features comfortable furnishings, a game table and those unbelievable views of Lake Pepin. The stone patio (with pergola) in front of the house provides more than 300 sq. ft of luxurious outdoor space and has a fire pit surrounded by comfortable Adirondack chairs and a covered picnic table porch. The perfect place to spend quality time together or just take in the beautiful scenery.

The house - (Sleeps up to 10) - 1800 square feet and has four bedrooms & two baths. The master bedroom suite has a king size bed, private sitting area with a second TV & that red brick fireplace. This room has beautiful windows that offer an absolutely breathtaking view of Lake Pepin and Maiden Rock. The second bedroom on the main floor is also very large and has two queen size beds. There are two bedrooms on the second level along with a second full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed with those amazing views of Lake Pepin in every direction you look. The other upstairs bedroom has 2 comfy twin beds that kids and kids at heart will love!

The kitchen is complete in every respect and features stainless steel appliances and solid granite counter tops. The kitchen counter has a peninsula that is perfect for gathering around; sitting four for meals or serving guests. The dining room features a large table that can seat 10 very comfortably.

Amazing Views is the perfect place for family or friends to get away to. There is lots of open space, yet privacy for those who choose to go to bed early or sleep-in.

Truly amazing views!

Our stay was lovely. This home is beautifully decorated and appointed. Our hosts have provided everything a guest could possibly need from extra blankets to kitchen equipment. There was even a lemon zester! The patio overlooking Lake Pepin has plenty of seating, we spent a lot of time there watching the nesting eagles and their eaglets.

“Amazing Views “ definitely earned its name.

My children, adult grandchildren and myself were lucky enough to stay at Amazing Views. The location is perfect for walking almost anywhere in town. Sandy and Eric go out of their way to make sure you have all the essentials you need for your stay. The house is beautifully decorated and roomy enough that our family didn’t feel crowded.

Amazing Views girlfriend weekend

The property was perfect. I have never stayed in any vacation rental as well equipped with kitchen dinnerware, appliances, paper goods etc. as Amazing Views was. It was comfortably decorated in a Lake/Seashore theme that was carried throughout. Was very impressed that they even thought of extra lightweight blankets that we could use when sitting outside on the patio. ( the weather was a little cooler than we expected, so those blankets came in very handy.). The views of the lake and bluffs from the unit were Amazing!!I will definitely tell others about the property and will look forward to staying again in the future. Special thanks to the hosts - Sandy and Eric !!!

Amazing Views is more than just amazing views. This lake home is a beautiful, comfortable place to stay. It is beautifully decorated with a well supplied new kitchen and several amenities throughout the home. We enjoyed our stay and will be back and recommend this place to others. Best Place Yet!

What a wonderful place to stay and what wonderful hosts too! The house is impeccable and has literally everything that you might need during your stay plus it is squeaky clean and extremely comfortable. Then there is the view of lake Pepin and the sailboats from several rooms inside and also the porch and deck out front! Very nice indeed. You'll be hard-pressed to ever find a better place to stage your vacation or get-a-way.

Amazing view vrbo really is amazing!

Stayed for 3 nights with elderly Mother and 6 siblings. We had adequate space. The house did have Great Lake views and was exactly as depicted in pictures. It also was very clean and had everything that you would need. The weather was beautiful so we really enjoyed the outdoor furniture, grill and fire pit. We even had 3 bald eagles each day in the tree right across road we enjoyed watching. The only suggestion I have would be to have downstairs bathroom be a shower only so it would be easier for elderly guests

Eagles every day

The house is beautiful and the hosts have gone above and beyond to anticipate your every need. The views are “amazing “ and that is no exaggeration. Every morning we walked directly across the street to stand beneath a giant cottonwood and gazed up at the bald eagles perched above. Amazing!

Amazing views at Amazing Views

We were extremely pleased with our stay. A fabulous home with a great view of Lake Pepin. I spent several hours each day enjoying the eagles that used the tree out front for roosting and fishing excursions. Also enjoyed the bike/walking trail right out the front door. A++

Hi! We are Sandy and Eric Meier and we moved to beautiful Lake City, MN in 2018 to enjoy a slower pace of life. We had a 5 star Bed and Breakfast in Wisconsin called The Meier Inn and a grass fed beef farm. We have also "flipped" 11 homes in the previous 20 years. We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to purchase "Dramatic Views" an existing vacation rental from friends of ours. This beautiful home has been a 5 star vacation rental on another booking site for a number of years. We are looking forward to maintaining that same level of quality!
We love to travel, enjoy great food, cook, bake, garden, spend time with our children and grandchildren and spend time boating and fishing on Lake Pepin. We volunteer in our community and have joined a number of organizations. We love our little town and know that you will too!!

Did you know that pelicans visit Lake City every spring and fall during their migration? There are 4 golf courses in the area, ski hills nearby, swimming beaches right down the street, great restaurants, shops and beautiful churches. Lake City offers small town charm and is a safe and friendly community! The neighboring towns of Red Wing, MN and Wabasha, MN offer more options of restaurants and stores. Lake City is only 45 minutes from Rochester, MN and a little over an hour away from the Mall of America. There is so much to see and do in Lake City! We hope to meet you soon!!
