We arrived on a Sunday in the busiest part of the day wholeheartedly expecting the difficulty that goes along with that, to our surprise, we were welcomed to a beautifully well kept log home seated a mile from the main thoroughfare between Gatlinburg/Sevierville and pigeon forge. The house was well kept, the neighbors polite and the parking very convenient (and undersold, plenty of room for extra vehicles!). The creek was nice for the kids, we had plenty of wildlife sitings (including a large male black bear who helped himself to a seat by the fire one afternoon while we stare in awe from the back door) and the amenities at the house spacious! I can’t say enough about the experience.
If I had to make a negative, I would caution you on the top bunks as they are VERY close to the ceiling fans and we did have a bump incident that was minor as well as the deck while new and very nice does have a screw or two that aren’t completely set toward the corners, so watch those bare feet!
We will definitely return and are thankful for our trip!
