Excellent communication from the owner prior to and during the trip. We all enjoyed the pool. Very close to lots of restaurants and entertainment. From water parks to NASA, my daughter’s favorite part of the trip was feeding the geese, pigeons, and ducks at the park that wasn’t far down the road.

We felt so comfortable in this lovely home. It was the perfect house for our family getaway to Houston. The location feels safe and it is within close proximity to a lot of wonderful adventures.

The house is beautiful! It’s very roomy! We had an amazing time! When we had questions the host would respond immediately. The house is in a quiet and great neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect

My mother, daughter and myself stayed in this esquisite house for a month while exploring Houston and Galveston on vacation. From floorto ceiling, throughout, the owners have spared no expense. I walked in the front door and felt the same extravagance I did while traveling through Europe. They even had a wide variety of fresh spices and all the extras a chef could want in high end appliances and cookware. The place was spotless. The pool was kept clean professionally and the landscaping reflected in the sparkling water. It was simply magical. The house was refreshingly cool after a day of Texas heat. I could go on an on there is not enough space herd to describe this diamond in the rough. My mother, daughter and I didnt want it to end. We will definately be back! It is important to note the hospitality here is outstanding!

The house was charming and we made the most of our stay. There is big potential in this property, but in my opinion it needs both a professional cleaning service and pest management. Garage door/lock was being “repaired” when we arrived at 7:30pm without any advance notice from the owner. Front door lock isn’t the best, very thankful this is a nice and quiet neighborhood. There are no smoke detectors or a carbon dioxide detector. A/C - I had the A/C working hard the entire visit to help cool the home, the air filters looked as though it came with the house. It would be nice if the vents & fan blades were dusted. I did use the multiple fans found in one of the rooms. Floors were dirty & sticky, Kitchen (all over) was also dirty & greasy. Fridge didn’t cool properly, it was also filthy & had to be cleaned before food was placed inside. Freezer sliding arms for door were broken & wouldn’t allow the door to shut.Dishwasher (bottom drawer) was still full of dirty dishes, I ran it but the food was so stuck on I had to clean them. Same was true for most of the pots & pans, lots of stuck on food. Bathrooms (all of them) were dirty & had spider webs in almost every corner. Also saw spiders running from under the trash cans when we picked them up to empty them. MB shower had hair & shampoo on the walls. Rooms, the pictures looked better. MB furniture was broken & still had someone else’s personal items in a few. Closet door was off its track and spiders everywhere!

Great location with pool

There were many great things about this property and few things that could be improved on that are both in and out of the homeowner's control. We rented this property for 2 weeks. I wanted a location with a pool so my daughter would be able to be entertained while I worked. What's Awesome: The home is decorated nicely and is comfortable. The pool is a definite plus. The location was perfect. There are three spacious bedrooms for use. The two showers worked very nicely. The owner communicated well. What Needs Attention: The front door is extremely hard to open, close and lock. The home was not cleaned recently. The floors were very dirty. I found someone's pills at the cabinet floor in the bathroom. We had to rewash towels that smelled funny. There are too many leftover (old) spices in the kitchen, open sugar cubes, stagnant water in the coffee maker, food (and hair) left in the refrigerator and freezer, and random items in various drawers (expired vitamins in my daughter's room). The rooms get VERY HOT as you walk away from the thermostat. I bought/left a fan for the master bedroom. We had to deal directly with services: The gardener didn't pull the giant weed blocking my bedroom door from the backyard. The pool service didn't clean the bottom of the pool which had worms and bugs. We lost internet and had to handle a service person. I would have liked the homeowner to credit us something for the trouble we endured. I'd stay again if the above items were corrected.

Thanks for the review but like they said you can be the sweetest peach and someone won't like you. 1st : the pills are vitamins and some people might wanna take them , if you don't want them then they can stay in the shelf 2- When you come in it was hot and raining and it s an outside pool , we live in Texas of course it won't be clean everyday and as I discussed with you : the pool company comes in every Wednesday and they took care of it twice, there is a brush and a net and no host will clean the pool everyday. 3- The spices are for people to use that like to cook, if you don't want to use them , then don't touch them, not everyone likes to orde food, some guests like to cook and as a courtesy we have those spices. 4- The Gardner (as we both find out after you lost the internet connection) , cut the internet cable and I had no control of that, I got you someone way sooner than expected and fixed the internet for you and as a result of the connection lost the thermostat stopped working but it was taking care of , actually when you left you messed up all the setting and that why those was hot , my AC system is brand new, but we fixed the setting that you left, I guess you are not familiar with the Nest thermostat. 5- When you checked in : I asked you if everything g is fine, you never mentioned anything about dirty floors or hair, otherwise I could have sent someone to clean whatever mess that you claim, you stayed for 2 weeks and all of this is new news to me, so how am I gonna credit you "something" if I am not aware of anything. 6- Thank you for your review and most importantly for booking with us, I am all for constructive criticism but at least you should have express those points while you were there, because most of the stuff you said I don't agree with , but again we appreciate you visiting our house and you can check Airbnb , we have over 50 reviews and we are Super hosts with a 5 STARS Rating.
