Blarney Estate - Indoor Pool and Unique River View

The house is 5,000 sqft and sits on 11 private acres of land. It has an indoor heated pool and views of the Potomac and mountains from almost every room. The decor and furniture is soft and warm, and our focus is on comfort and refuge.

The front of the house has a big open lawn, perfect for playing games and running around. We have rocking chairs on the covered porch overlooking the front yard.

The side yard has a small playground with two swings and a slide. Play at your own risk, and please no adults on the swings/slide, as it is only rated for up to 150 lbs. In the summer months we have wild raspberries growing behind the playground and are available for all to enjoy.

The back of the house has a terrace with dining tables, a sitting area and a charcoal grill. The terrace leads to the screened patio with a large, comfy couch, table, fan and swing. The Blarney Tiny House found in the backyard has a number of yard games available to use, just please return them afterwards. Unfortunately, it is not accessible at this time. The backyard also has a fire pit with Adirondack chairs and corn hole boards. The entire backyard overlooks the Potomac River and the Harpers Ferry Gap. Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia are all three visible in one picturesque view.

In addition to our unique view of Harpers Ferry gap and all year round heated indoor pool, we offer a variety of other amenities:

High speed internet access provided by mesh WiFi throughout the estate.

All rooms have smart TVs with complimentary Netflix, Hulu/ESPN+, Disney+, Curiosity Stream, and Peacock subscriptions in every room. Additional installed apps include HBO MAX, Apple TV, Prime, and Youtube installed if you have an existing account.

Complimentary toiletries are provided and we do our best to provide you with a luxury experience.

We have a portable Bluetooth speaker and microphone in the family room for use by guests who dream of being a super star.

Books, games and toddler toys are available throughout the house.

Amazon Alexa digital assistant devices are located throughout the house and have Unlimited Music subscriptions, which allow for a variety of fun and useful things you can do, such as:

“Alexa, tell me a joke”
“Alexa, lights off” - will turn off the lights in room or area you are in
“Alexa, what’s the weather in Harpers Ferry today?”
"Alexa, set an alarm for 5 minutes"

All indoor and outdoor lighting come on every day around dusk and turn off again around dawn. You can also control the lighting via the Alexas and a full list of useful voice control commands is available on a printout in the kitchen.

Our caretakers have chickens, ducks, and turkeys and love to show our younger guests how to feed them, just ask!

NOTE: Your safety and privacy matters. This property features 3 actively recording cameras, located at the front and side doors and facing the driveway. The cameras do not look into any interior spaces and all Alexa devices can be disabled upon request or unplugged by guests.
