Beach house off the beaten path, only 7 minutes walk to Long Sands beach!

Our rental is comfortable with all you need to have a great vacation! A spacious deck to sit on in the morning with your coffee and in the afternoon for an after beach refreshment, with a gas grill for cooking. Set away from the hustle and bustle of beach traffic and offers nice shade for those hot summer days. We are on a private road with minimal traffic and driveway parking available. For summer days, there is an outdoor shower and hose to use to rinse off sand.

Day Tripping in Maine

This was a perfect location for us to day trip to coastal NE towns. House very nice and well supplied. Cate and Steve very responsive hosts. Would stay here again on our next trip.

Nice, comfortable home.

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable home , which had a large deck with a grill and AC in the bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The walk to the beach was not too far and the beach was lovely!!

Quiet location close to long sands

Great location close easy walk to the best parts of Long Sands but really quiet at night. Nice and cool in the shade back at the house. Had everything we needed for a great beach week!

Tucked in a couple blocks up from Long Sands.

Perfect house for Grandparents, parents and two children. Comfortable and cozy. Convenient walk down to Long Sands in York Beach- one of the most beautiful and minimally developed beaches in Southern Maine! Short drive to Nubble light!

Location, location, location.

By far the best VRBO experience I’ve had. House is perfect, just need a spigot outside or outdoor shower for rinsing off all the sand. Otherwise the location is perfect!! House is very good size and had everything you need. Hopefully we will be back next year!

Just as Described

We had a very nice week at the Long Sands cottage. It was just as described - clean and well set up - with everything you needed to enjoy the house and the beach. It is a simple house, and very basic, but comfortable. If we ever want to return to the area we would consider it again.

A Lovely Home

This home came equipped with everything necessary. We especially enjoyed the air conditioning as well as the washer and dryer. The home was very comfortable and clean. We truly enjoyed not having to bring bedding/linens which we had always done in the past. The walk to the beach was short and we enjoyed the wagon that was provided as well! I would recommend this home to anyone looking for home vs. cottage environment. Also, the large deck was plus for eating outside. We would definitely stay here again!
