Hello Sandra, We are really sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your time at our cabin. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and we would like to address your concerns. Our cabin is located in remote Browning MT and with that do come some "rugged" features typical for the area. While the driveway is not paved, we have hosted numerous guests with a variety of vehicles and have yet to hear of anyone having damage to their vehicle. We do suggest guests take it slow as they head up and down the driveway. We would love to hear your suggestions on how we could better stock the kitchen. We currently provide a stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, toaster, pots and pans, cooking utensils, plateware, silverware, glassware, coffee, creamer, sugar, dish towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, sponges, trash bags, cleaning solutions, and a small collection of oil and spices. We do regularly treat the property for pest control, but as a wilderness cabin in remote Montana, we cannot guarantee there will not be any critters. We will evaluate our processes and see how we can improve these! In regards to the temperature of the cabin, we can assure you the thermostat was reading 72 and not set to 72 degrees. We have 3 bluetooth enabled thermostats and have all of these set to 65 degrees during the summer months. The cabin does face to the Southwest, allowing for the beautiful views, but this can cause the cabin, especially the sunporch to get a bit warm in the afternoons. We do provide multiple tower fans to help with air circulation and all bedroom windows and sunporch windows do open to allow air flow. We apologize you were not able to open these and would have been happy to troubleshoot this with you if you had informed us. Lastly, in regards to the exterior, you are correct in that there is no landscaping or outdoor furniture. We are positioned on a slope and outdoor seating would be a bit difficult to provide for the amount of guests the cabin can host. Additionally we do not have a fire pit or allow outdoor fires as this area is quite dry in the summer and prone to wildfires. While we do provide an outdoor grill for cooking, we strongly advise our guests to keep most food indoors as we are in bear country. Again, we are sorry we were not the right property for you & your group and we will make our best effort to improve some of the issues you have brought to our attention for future guests. Thank you!
