ABOUT CASA PAZ
Casa Paz, meaning "Peace," is a charming and comfortable condominium nestled in Condominio de las Flores in Playa Pelada. This inviting retreat offers the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience, with easy access to Pelada Beach, local restaurants, and more.
ON THE INSIDE
This first-floor condo features two bedrooms, a third sleeping space, and two bathrooms, providing ample room for a relaxing stay. The spacious living area flows into a fully equipped kitchen and an enclosed patio, creating an open and airy feel.
The primary bedroom boasts a king-size bed, a cozy seating area, and a dedicated workspace. The second bedroom offers a queen-size bed, while the third sleeping space includes a full-size bed and a privacy curtain (note: this space is not fully enclosed). Ceiling fans are installed throughout the home, including the enclosed patio, and air conditioning is available in both bedrooms and the third sleeping space.
Please note that the washer and dryer are shared with other units in the complex and are not located within the condo itself.
ON THE OUTSIDE
Lush tropical landscaping surrounds the complex, creating a serene and picturesque setting. Guests have access to a parking garage for added convenience, an outdoor patio perfect for enjoying fresh air, and a shared pool available during designated hours.
POOL RULES

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
4:30-5:30 PM is ‘Cocktail Hour’ – all are welcome, but please be respectful of conversations and gatherings.
Tidy up after using the pool and barbecue area.
No glassware is allowed at the pool.
SHARED LAUNDRY ROOM RULES
Monday-Saturday:Housekeepers: 8 AM - 2 PM
Guests: 2 PM - 8 PM

Sunday: 8 AM - 8 PM (open to all)
Limit use to one washer and dryer at a time.
Use only eco-friendly laundry soap.
No sandy clothing, towels, blankets, or shoes in the machines.
Clean the dryer filters after each use.
Machines marked "OWNERS" are strictly for owner use.
LOCATION IS EVERYTHING
Playa Pelada is located just north of the world-renowned surf destination, Playa Guiones. This vibrant area offers a variety of restaurants, bars, and mini-markets, along with the local favorite, Playa Pelada. Whether you prefer to relax under the shade of the palm trees or seek adventure, Pelada has something for everyone.
Take a scenic hike up the hill between Playa Pelada and Playa Guiones for breathtaking views of both beaches. At low tide, explore the rocky tide pools or walk south along the shore to discover the fascinating bat caves. If surfing is on your agenda, you're just a 10-minute drive or a 25-minute walk from the north entrance of Playa Guiones.
LOCAL QUIRKS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS AREA OF COSTA RICA
While Costa Rica's infrastructure is steadily improving, it's important to note that some things are beyond our control. During your stay, you may experience occasional dust, bugs, and power, water, or internet outages. These are common in the area and part of the experience of immersing yourself in a different country and culture.
If staying connected is essential during your visit, we recommend looking into internet data plans available through your cellular provider. Additionally, please be aware that Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada, and surrounding areas of Nosara are rapidly growing communities, which means construction noise may be present between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. We make every effort to keep our guests informed about ongoing construction that may impact their stay, but unfortunately, we do not always receive advance notice of new projects.
Regarding plumbing, please note that the septic system in Nosara does not allow toilet paper to be flushed (with a few exceptions). We kindly ask that you adhere to this guideline during your stay.
We are committed to providing the best possible experience, but we want to ensure that all guests are aware of these local quirks before booking. Refunds and concessions will not be provided for the above-mentioned issues, as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out before booking.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Kindly note that while we honor our cancellation policy, any processing or payment gateway fees incurred during your reservation are non-refundable in the event of a guest-initiated cancellation, even if your cancellation qualifies for a full or partial refund. This policy does not apply if the host cancels the reservation.
We want to ensure that your stay in Nosara is safe and enjoyable. Like many beach communities, petty theft can occasionally be an issue in the area. Your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities, so we kindly ask that you take the following precautions during your stay:
Always keep doors and windows locked when you're away from the property and at night. If your sliding doors or windows have security bars, please ensure they are in place. If you cannot find the bars, contact us as soon as possible.

Never leave valuables or personal items unattended when you leave the house, including electronics, identification, and anything else of apparent value.

Do not leave valuables in your car while you’re out, and avoid leaving anything on your front or back patios unattended.

If your property has a security alarm, always set it when you leave, even for short periods of time.

While a security guard is not included with your rental, we can arrange for one upon request. If you'd like to hire a security guard for part or all of your stay, please let us know during the booking process and specify the hours you'd like covered.
Please be aware that, even with these precautions in place, theft can still occur in Nosara. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager are not responsible for any loss of items due to theft.
