Spacious 3BR Duplex Near Downtown St Paul, 65” TV, Parking, Work Space

Welcome 1311 Kent Street duplex, your home away from home! Located on the outskirts of downtown St. Paul. In a suburban neighborhood but energized by the metro surroundings. Great & convenient location!! Close to several great restaurants, shopping centers, city events and attractions.

You will have access to the entire right side of the duplex. Walk into the cozy living room and watch a movie on the 65’’ flatscreen TV. Cook your favorite meal in the fully equipped kitchen, then have a family dinner in the dining room.

Bedrooms are located upstairs. Two of the bedrooms are equipped with comfy queen beds with memory foam mattress to catch up on sleep. One bedroom has a twin bed air mattress. Two of the rooms also have dressers to put your close away if you’ll be staying for a while. Utilize the dedicated work space to get some work done.

The TV on the lower level is equipped with Netflix and Amazon Prime - feel free to log into your streaming accounts, we only ask that you log out before leaving. **Please note--there is no cable TV**

MN State Capital building - 2.6 State Fair grounds - 3.4 mi. Como Park Zoo - 2 mi. Downtown St. Paul - 2 mi. Target Field - 10.9 mi. MSP Airport - 12 mi. Roseville Center - 2 mi. Mall Of America - 14 mi.

This is a quiet residential street and there is typically readily available street parking right in front of the house.

Great place!

Lovely, upgraded home in a quaint, quiet neighborhood. Owners were responsive and very helpful. Definitely will stay there again!

Just OK could be better

The neighborhood was decent. Most the of the property was good. The only issue was one of the bed sheets had a stain and 3 to 4 of the pillows had stains on them.

Nice House in a Quiet Neighborhood

We had a great stay and Delvin was easy to work with and responsive. The house is well-kept and clean with a combination of upgrades and charm. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for us to spread out.

Weekend family reunion

It was our first time staying at a Vrbo. It was very nice to be able to commingle and hang out with my family in a relaxed cozy environment. We loved it.

Close to everything

Easy to find, easy parking in driveway, easy access to anything you need. Owner was very responsive when we asked for more towels.

Comfy cozy home away from home

We were in MN for our daughters college graduation & we chose this VRBO because it’s proximity to our daughter’s apartment. Easy on street parking. Fairly quiet neighborhood. Easy access to main streets to get around. The house had what we needed. Thanks for a great stay!!

Bad bad bad

I had people come over she was watching from her cameras and said it was a party I’m 38 I know not to throw a party we was hanging out and they was gonna leave at a decent time she made me feel very uncomfortable watching the cameras nobody was being loud we didn’t even have a speaker to throw a party was literally hanging with family .. she wrote y’all and told y’all we was having a party overall bad experience

Thank you Candace for you review, although I would like to counter argue with this as it is a false advertisement of my property and me as a host. Upon noticing loud music coming from the house and seeing about 10-15 people walking towards the home, I contacted Candace, in which she first denied being Candace, to inform her that per VRBO policy and my own house rules, parties are absolutely not allowed. Candace was not truthful throughout the process and would not have her guest (who were not on the reservation) leave until I told her the police would be called due to the violation of policy. As a host, my responsibility is to ensure that my guest and future guest get the best experience while they stay at my property. I do my best to uphold this standard for my guests, and in return I expect my guests to be truthful and respectful of my house rules and VRBO policy.

Overall good stay

Our stay was great, overall. There was plenty of room to spread out on the main level with the open concept. The kitchen was large with plenty of storage and counter space. Although, there were just little things we noticed that weren’t bad, but would’ve been nice to have. For example, there was no soap in the bathroom or napkins to use, so we had to buy some. It would’ve been nice to have extra towels or blankets made available. My daughter was playing with her toys and some rolled under the couch. There was candy and used toothpicks and other things collected underneath. It was clearly dirty. It was a great home, decorated cute and put together nicely, but it was lacking some of the basics that typically come with a vacation rental type space. All in all, we had a great time at this location!

The host failed to provide property access info at check-in time; when asked for it, the host said there would be a delay due to a misunderstanding with the cleaner. Eventually, the host said the place would not be ready for check-in that day at all. An alternative property was offered for our first night, but, as it was a 30 minute drive away, it was not appropriate. We made alternative arrangements for our first night. Eventually the host offered a refund for that first night. When we finally got into the property the next day, it was much shabbier than expected. Rather than list all the issues we had, I'll just say that it made for a miserable stay.
