We are Beach Vacation Getaways of St. George Island, Florida. We are Local and Personal!

DOCK: Dock is available for use and boating, but Boat Lift is Off Limits to Renters. (we have had guests damage the lift, so be advised it is for Owner use only. Thanks for your understanding!)


This home features everything you could need for the perfect Vacation Getaway on SGI. Featuring one of the largest private pools on St. George island, and located on a wide private corner bayfront Lot with a Dock!

This home is only a few blocks away from the Beach and is located in a Golf Cart friendly location!

"Point of View" is brand new to the rental market as of July 2022, and availability won't last long. Rates will increase in 2023 so book today and come enjoy the best of SGI!

All linens, Bath Towels, Hand Towels, Washcloths, and toiletries are included with this rental! Other recommended items to bring are personal toiletries such as toothbrush, shaving creme, haircare items, as well as beach towels, beach chairs, and of course sunscreen!

All of our homes are equipped with both Keurig and Standard Coffee Makers. You will find most everything you would need located in this well stocked kitchen. If you are curious if something is here, just ask us!

Master Bedroom - King size bed, and bunk bed w/ 2 single mattresses. Full Bath with toilet, vanity, and shower.

Bedroom #2 - Queen Size bed, dresser, and night stand.

Bedroom #3 - Queen Bed and 1 Bunk Bed with 2 single mattresses.

Full bath #2- Toilet, vanity, and Shower (located just off the 2 guest rooms.

We had an amazing stay! The house and the pool were so clean. We watched dolphins playing in the water from the porch, they swam right up to the rocks that was really awesome. Great fishing at the dock! Would definitely stay again!

Place was absolutely filthy dead roaches on the floor, used condom on the couch, hair in the sinks and showers. Broken recliner, broken fireplace, broken coffee maker, broken washer, pots and ans fillthy. Pool with a major leak no warer unable to use. No power or wifi downstairs due to faulty wiring

Thank you for staying with us and thank you for the feedback. We spoke to you the day of check in and an overloaded surge protector with plug ins was causing an issue near the t.v. You mentioned the house was dirty yet it was cleaned by the same cleaner and verified as clean prior to your arrival. You mentioned a condom but we have never seen anything like that in this home in the many years we have managed this property. We could tell before you even stayed one night there waa nothing we were going to do to satisfy you. Previous guest left 5 star review and many before them. We are sorry the home did not meet your expectations and we will address and investigate into anything mentioned. Future Travelers be advised we taking cleaning very serious and we only strive to offer a clean home from top to bottom in all of our many properties.

Our family thouroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. The owner responded in a timely manner regarding any questions we had and the house, property, and accommodations were above our expectations. Highly recommend for family vacations. Especially for those who have young and old fishermen! The weather wasn't the greatest, but we still made wonderful memories in this home, the pool, fishing and sitting on the dock, and from the rocks!

Perfect family house

This was exactly what we had hoped for. Very private, best location on the bay side, fully equipped dock, great kitchen and every amenity we needed. We watched dolphins from the porch, saw a sea turtle, swam in the pool daily, and hopped on a rented golf cart for a three minute drive to the beach side. The neighbors were very nice as well. We will be back!

It was a trip to celebrate our 41st anniversary and it was sooo relaxing, laidback, peaceful. The layout of the house was perfect and later that week our children and our littlest loves joined us for more boating, beach, swimming, hiking and family fun!!! Poor communication with the owner due to slow response time. Advertised dock but you can’t use boat lift and advertised fish cleaning station but no power to the dock. Water line break and I get stuff happens but not even a thank you waking up emptying tubs of water to help them. Some nice offer due to troubles would have went a long ways. First time ever with a bad vrbo review.

Thanks for leaving the review but I will have to clarify some things for future travelers. Traveler was communicated with before check-in many days and during their stay. There Was An Unexpected leak that occurred during his stay and when he called us we sent a contractor immediately over to the house, even at the late night hour. Problem was located, water shut off, and sufficient repair was made. Not sure what else we could do, but there was nothing we were going to do to make the traveler happy. We are happy there was nothing negative to say about the house or the property, which further emphasizes what a five-star property this is!

Wonderful Place and Experience

The home is lovely and such a beautiful location on the Bay. The home has a perfect view of every sunset without leaving your backyard, even the view from the kitchen window is a full sunset! The Home was very nice, clean and stocked with all the necessities. Only constructive comment is master bed is due for a new mattress, it’s slightly sunk in and I woke up with aching back. the home was wonderful and Andrew jumped on things quickly when I phoned him about an internet outage, it was a island wide issue with that vendor. My family loved the home, the bay, the pool and everything about the experience. It was wonderful.

We were happy to assist during your vacation and we are glad you found the home suitable for all your needs and as described in the online booking listing. This is a great home at the best price when you consider the panoramic view of the Bay a humongous swimming pool and a private dock. Not to mention roughly a couple hundred feet or more of natural Shoreline to fish from or view the unobstructed bay. Watching Dolphins pass by this property or just catching some fresh fish for dinner is truly something special. Stay was great. Beautiful views. Only thing had two fishing poles stolen. So lock your stuff down if you rent this house. Tried to call office and report it. No answer. Left message for a call back. Never a call back.

House needs maintenance

House had many maintenance issues. Beach Vacation Getaway LLC was unresponsive. I have photos of the issues including windows, lights and cockroaches. I would not recommend this house or the management company. A refund would be appreciated.

Hey Chris, we just checked the VRBO dashboard and there is not a single message from you as a traveler. You arrived on April 6 for 2 weeks, and I see where we as a property management company reached out to you on April 12 because you called us around that time and left a voicemail. We asked if everything was OK and that we could send someone out if needed. You as a traveler never responded to us even though you stayed through April 20th. Your statement in our opinion was False regarding communication. We politely disagree and we are sad you chose to post a review and mention these troubles 3 weeks after you checked out. We always work to make things right with any traveler, but we cant help you if you dont respond to our communication efforts. Future travelers See the below message copied directly from VRBO dashboard with no response from traveler: Hey Chris, I just got a voicemail that you guys might be having trouble with the internet. Let me know if that is the case and I can definitely send someone out to take care of it. In the meantime I'm sure you may have tried it already but if you will try turning off the modem and unplugging it for about a minute and then plugging it back in to reset the IP address. Sometimes that will fix it but if not I can get a technician over there ASAP. Chris checked out April 20, 2024 and provided no response to the above message.

Stay at Saint George Island

The satellite dish was broken off the pole and we didn't have satellite TV. The TV in the main room only received streaming signal. All the other TVs received no signals. The pool heater wasn't working until I turned it on. It was fine after that. Everything else was good.

Thank you for staying with us! We were not aware of any issue with a satellite dish or televisions during your stay. We will definitely look into this ASAP. Issues

We had issues getting in one night and couldn’t get a hold of property manager or owner. Finally they called and a contractor came and we had to break in through a bedroom window. Very frustrating. Once he changed the battery we did t have issues. Recommend having a key somewhere to override dead battery. There were no instructions on checkout in unit or on line

Thank you for staying with us and thank you for the feedback. Your comments however contradict themselves as you stated we sent a contractor to help you get in to the property. We unfortunately did not have the override key for the electronic door lock available when the battery went dead in the late hours that you had called. No worries, as our contractor was able to find a way to get in and replace the battery for you. I spoke to you multiple times even when the contractor was on site. We cannot predict when batteries are going to go dead in electronic locks but it is a very quick and easy fix. We are glad that outside of that you had zero trouble during your stay. We hope to see you again soon!

Perfect private bayside getaway

We frequent SGI almost yearly and this home by far has been our favorite! We decided to do a bay front home to allow for amazing beach views, dock and a large yard for our youngest to be able to run off some energy. This home was beautiful and perfect for a two family trip with the large sectioned off upstairs perfect for a small family of three and our 5 stayed in the rooms downstairs. We loved having a private pool to come home to after our beach day and spent most evenings watching the bay sunset from our wrap around porch. My only down side to this home came with the lack of smart TVs in all bedrooms. If I’m being picky the down stairs bedrooms either didn’t have a tv or the tv was rendered useless at it does not have smart tv capability. If you’re staying here I’d recommend bringing a Roku for the master bedroom as well as being aware the bunk room downstairs does not have a tv at all. Our family made due and it was nice being unplugged for the week but I know some TVs are a must for people at night so I wanted to let that be known for anyone staying here. We will absolutely be back in the future and can’t wait for our next vacation here. Thanks for the amazing week!

Bay Stay

The house was great. Definitely need to have sheets that actually fit the bed. A queen top sheet does not fit a king size bed. Need more kitchen equipment. The worst part was communication with the owner. I sent a request 2 wks before our trip about a crock pot. Was told he would find out. Never heard back from him. Took one just in case and good thing I did because there was not one. Contacted him toilet downstairs running all the time. After a week got a response he would send someone. Finally contacted him to see when they would come. Still got no response. Notified him that a picture had fallen off the wall (no fault of ours, the nail came loose), still no response. Every place we have stayed with VRBO, the owners have been amazing about responding immediately. That was not the case with this property. The home is in a great location and the views are amazing. The owner needs to respond to his renters in a timely manner instead of not responding at all.

I have not personally received any photographs or any contact from you other than the occasional VRBO message for small things. We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay on St George Island, and we have multiple phone numbers available for that reason to help guests make contact with one of our three managers. None of the three have notified as either. We hope that you will consider this property in the future and not refrain from booking over the absent Crock-Pot or miscommunication. Long fishing weekend.

Property perfect for our trip. Had a dock that had electricity and great pressure water hose. House clean and designed well. We did not use the pool but it looked perfect and well maintained.
