Willkommen bei Hale Lio Kai! Das bedeutet auf Hawaiianisch „Zuhause des Seepferdchens“. Dieses absolut fantastische Haus wurde 2015 erbaut und ist eine unglaubliche Wahl für deinen Urlaub.
Genieße fantastische Annehmlichkeiten wie einen wunderschönen, 5 Fuß tiefen Salzwasserpool und einen Whirlpool!

Hale Lio Kai liegt auf einer angenehmen Anhöhe mit herrlicher Durchzugluft. Du wirst feststellen, dass dieses Haus nur 10–15 Autominuten von den besten Stränden der Insel entfernt ist und auch unglaublich nah am Flughafen Kona liegt.

Es gibt reichlich Wohnraum, einen attraktiven Grundriss und zwei gemütliche Lanais mit 180-Grad-Blick auf das Meer und den Sonnenuntergang.

Genieße 3 Schlafzimmer und 2 Badezimmer in diesem spektakulären Anwesen. Das Haus bietet bequem Platz für maximal 7 Personen.

Our family had an extraordinary stay at this beautiful home on the Big Island! From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and welcomed. The house is thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, and had more than enough space for our entire family to relax.One of our favorite touches was all of the beach amenities that were provided. Having beach towels, boogie boards, and other beach gear available made our days at the beach so easy and enjoyable. The location is also fantastic—it's conveniently close to the airport and just a short drive to several amazing beaches.The pool, hot tub, and oversized hammock were truly the cherry on top of an already incredible stay. After long days of exploring, it was so nice to come back, relax, and unwind, and my oldest son especially loved spending time in the hammock.The only suggestion I would offer is that adding window treatments in the kitchen would be helpful. During sunset, the afternoon sun shines directly into the kitchen, making it quite warm while preparing dinner. Shades or blinds would make an already wonderful space even more comfortable.Overall, this home exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-equipped, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay on the Big Island. Mahalo for helping our family create such wonderful memories—we can't wait to return!

Beautiful home

The home was beautiful and clean. Great location, and kids loved the pool. Only complaint was no AC, there’s generally a nice breeze but it was a little hot for sleeping, and the roosters and dogs woke us up early every day because we had the windows open.

Family Vacation to the Big Island

We stayed near Hilo for 4 days and Kona for 6 days. This was amazing place to stay, excellent amenities and location. We enjoyed snorkeling with manta rays, the submarine tour of the ocean bottom and deep sea fishing on Sea Baby III. Thoroughly enjoyed the awesome kitchen it made us feel at home for meals.

This property is breathtakingly gorgeous. Our family enjoyed the beautiful ocean views, preparing Thanksgiving dinner, and baking Christmas cookies in the well stocked kit hen with a gogantuc island.

Wonderful fun filled days by the pool!

After 7 full days of driving the Big Island seeing all the sights, swimming with Mantas and eating Malasadas from Tex’s, we enjoyed 4 wonderful days laying by the pool at HALE LIO KAI. The hot tub was divine. Beds were comfortable, sunsets so beautiful! Highly recommended.

An incredible home with beautiful views

We were very impressed with this incredible home. It had everything our family of three needed, from a very well appointed kitchen to space to spread out to a great pool and hot tub.The neighborhood was quiet and we felt secluded on a mountainside with a view of the ocean. We watched the sunrise enjoying the sounds of nature and watched the sunset from the hot tub. The home is close to several grocery stores and downtown Kona, and it was easy to zip to other places on the island to explore.The home is well decorated, comfortable and clean.Thank you for an incredible place to call home during our trip!

We left three large fans we purchased from Walmart at the location.

So sorry about the hot water! It’s a solar water heater, And we had no idea how you didn’t have a hot water the entire time you were there. We’ve been happy to open up the garage to turn the lever manually to engage hot water since it was raining.

It’s nicely updated, has pretty ocean views, and is located in a quiet residential neighborhood within easy driving distance to beaches and town. Well-stocked with everything a family might need for the kitchen as well as beach outings. The management company was very responsive and a breeze to work with. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This location is convenient especially to the airport. The sunset view is definitely the best feature of this . The layout of the house is a bit awkward as the only way to access the pool or hot tub is through the downstairs bathrooms. The saltwater pool is refreshing. The beach gear is ok, good umbrella and chairs, the boogie boards worn out. Lots of dishes, pots and pans, many spices, no coffee or laundry soap, limited paper products. The upstairs lanai with the custom table definitely the place to hang out.

Beautiful home with a great view

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was beautiful clean & a view. Had all kinds of pool activities for the kids, the pool was not warm & did not use the pool much , kids might of used 3 times & less than 30 mins each use, was too cold to go in even in the month of July. Overall the house was great. The property management was in contact with myself pretty often.

Great View!

The place was sparkling clean and *extremely* well equipped. They even had toys and books, which my kids (ages 6-12) enjoyed a lot. The pool and tub were great, especially since all the nice beaches (at least those that we liked) are not close by. The best part was the view from the top balcony! The pictures on this site should have captured it better :) I’m happy to report that there was no noise from the airport and we mainly heard nature noises (birds, chickens, etc). The management company was *great*, extremely responsive and very helpful. My only advice: check with the managers on the availability of parking space if you plan to arrive with a big car or 2 cars.
