Our family group of 10 spent a week here and this property worked great for us. We had 4 trucks with boats and there was plenty of room for all. The location was convenient for us and enjoyed time on the deck after we returned from our days of fishing. Management staff was helpful and responsive which made for a great experience.

Great house and location

We had a great time at this property. It was very well maintained. We were able to walk into Clayton and to the ice cream parlor. The club house was an added bonus for additional space and a place to have some fun and play some games on a rainy day. We would definitely stay again.

This is an amazing place. We had no idea that it consisted of two different buildings-the main house and the game room which also has a full bath. It was the perfect place to entertain.

Family Summer Break

Beautiful rustic, comfortable accommodations. No swimming or tubing possible so we went elsewhere for that. That paddle boat and kayak helped entertain. The separate bunk house game room was a big hit with everyone. The visiting geese were annoying but we understand why they love the area so much!

Nature, nurture and fun!

Well appointed property, fabulous kitchen....we lacked nothing. The wildlife views were amazing. Otters, swan, geese, river rats swimming down the creek and cows in the pasture on the hills beyond. We were able to dock our boat there and had a very fun and relaxing vacation where I honed my pool game.

Beautiful log home with fantastic appliances! My only complaint was the dock which seems to be a place for all the geese to congregate. A broom is kept there to remove the droppings. Boat launch if needed is less than a mile away! Overall, one of the nicer homes I have rented!

Annual Cousin Outing

Rustic but quaint. Nice morning views of French Creek with the sounds of bull frogs, ducks and swans floating throughout, and fish lapping the outer waters. Great location to all restaurants, boating activities, and shopping. The host, Shana, was fantastic. She was there to answer any and all questions within minutes. And this is what gives everyone the security of being on vacation in a strange place. We gave this place a top 5 rating all around. A must go to location.

Simply superb!

I have stayed at many VRBO properties through the years but have never given a 5-star review across the board. I do now. The property was immaculate, very well appointed, and in an excellent location. Great view of French Creek from the deck. And communication with the property manager was great. Superb.

Wonderful property!!

We stayed at this lovely property on French Creek this past weekend. We’ve never been to the thousand islands so we were very excited when we found this property. It met all of our needs and was a very relaxing place for us to stay. The combination of rustic vibe and the sweet charm of the cabin won me over immediately. The hosts have done an amazing job thinking of the details that make your stay very enjoyable. The game room was an added bonus for the family. The paddle boat was my personal favorite. Coffee on the deck over looking French Creek and the geese was the perfect way to start the day. Just a 5 min quick trip to Clayton or the grocery store as well as 15 min to Alexandria Bay. Such a convenient location. We will be staying here again for sure!
