Quite Mountainside Cabin retreat with a treehouse feel. Relax on the screened porch enjoying the leaves rustling in the wind in the summer & views of Yona Mountain in the fall & winter. Close to town, shopping & restaurants, far enough to be able to unwind from a busy day. Enjoy spending time by our outside firepit, cozying up to the wood burning stove, making lasting memories playing games in our rec room w/ a pool table, foosball table & darts. There is a BBQ & well-equipped kitchen.

Our home is 2,223 Sq Ft with 3 Bedroom/ 2 Bathrooms (sleeps 6 comfortably), a wood burning stove, outside firepit, grill, screened porch upstairs, basement rec room w/ a pool table, darts, and card table. Well equipped kitchen, Wifi, Smart Tvs, and a beautiful sunset view. Paved roads throughout the community.

The space
Centrally located to enjoy so much this area has to offer. Minutes to Helen, The charming historic town of Clarkesville with boutique shops and great restaurants. Close to Tallulah Falls, Lake Burton, State Parks, Hiking, Waterfalls, NOFO Brewery, 8 to 10 wineries and the town of Cleveland just to name a few. A binder with all the fun actives in the area is available to help you decide!
Guest access
Our road through the neighborhood is a circle. It loops around making it easy to access the driveway from either direction. The access road leading up to the cabin is a steep incline and not suited for all cars & drivers. Parking is limited so we request no more than two vehicles in the driveway. The speed limit throughout the neighborhood is 10 mph. We want our guest to enjoy all our property has to offer while being respectful while respecting the full time residents in our community. Noise does carry so we ask that our guest respect the outdoor quite hours from 10pm to 7am.

Lots of space. Game room in basement was clutch! Close to Helen and state parks. This did not bother us but is noteworthy that 2 of the 3 bedrooms would be subject to noise of tv and family room because of the openings and sliding barn door. Loved the multiple tvs and WiFi was great for all 4 of us!

We had a family wedding to go to. We were close enough to get to the wedding and even Helen for part of the day Saturday. Everyone loved the house and there was something for us all to do. Such as if you wanted to rest or shot pool. My daughter is ready to go back.

Perfect!!

Love everything about this house. Location, size, entertainment, cleanliness. The game room was great entertainment for our grandson and my favorite was the amazing coffee bar and early morning quiet time out on the screened in porch admiring the beautiful view. Will definitely stay here again when we come back this way!!

Great stay at owl landing

My family enjoyed our stay at owl landing… the house was great! Very clean and had everything you would expect with great decor and added little touches such as: a rack with throw blankets, plenty of dishwater, games and puzzles in game room downstairs and much more… close to Helen and great hiking! Our host Brittany was great, going the extra mile to make it comfortable and even sending my oldest daughter some makeup she forgot ( that was very sweet, Brittany). I would definitely recommend owls landing to anyone and we intend on coming back. Like my youngest daughter kept calling it, “ our Georgia Home” 😉 Warmest Regards, Jason

Not Owl Landing Treehouse, but lovely stay

We didn't actually stay at this property but at another one of Brittany's properties nearby, because of a mix up with dates. Brittany was great at working with us to make it right and then some. Her other property is spacious and very clean. It probably worked out better for us in the end.

Perfect for us!

Brittany was an excellent host! The house had everything we needed and them some. The Christmas tree was beautiful! Since we are currently living in a RV, the space was appreciated. It felt like a mansion in comparison. We enjoyed the pool table and dart board. Very convenient to Helen, which was the reason for our trip. We definitely would stay here again!

Fun Girls' Weekend Away

My group of 4 friends stayed in this house for a little 20th HS reunion getaway. The neighborhood made you feel just like you were in the mountains. Important to note: My GPS took me to the mailbox, not the house. House was clean and just as pictured. We enjoyed the 3 season porch. We appreciated the ample cozy throw blankets available as well as the firewood and tinder for outdoor fire pit. The right-hand side sliding door would not lock (may have been user error?), but not really an issue because its on second floor from ground level with no access from ground level. While we didn't take advantage of the game room in the lower level, it was nice to have as an option. Lower level door must be pull tight in order to lock -- otherwise it won't catch and can easily be pushed open -- would be nice to have a deadbolt on that door. Communication with owner was great! Quick response time. I would rent the house again.

Location/clean/great for dogs!

We stayed for a quick family weekend to Helen. The property is in a great location, very private, surrounded by the forest. Fire pit was awesome for night time relaxing. The home was appointed with everything you need. Downstairs game room was great, especially with the rain. Dogs loved having a fenced in yard!! That was a huge bonus. We will definitely be back!
